Here I have some diary entries and a mix of photos from all the times I visited Kakariko Village, which was quite often!

Entry One

Today I finally got a Sheikah Slate, though I can't remember what we used to call it. I suppose this new name will have to do. So far it takes photos and picks up the signals to shrines. I placed it to the pedestal and the shrine started to glow, but the door never opened. I heard about Purah, the researcher in Hateno, was good at working with it. Maybe she can help me add more abilities to it. At least I can see a map of the whole of Hyrule, I can see so many new places to visit. I don't remember enough to figure it out myself. For now I'm off to find Purah, I would like full functionality of my slate. I also heard rumours that the Princess has researched it, so maybe she can help me too. I'm going to start off by taking photos of the places I visit so I will always have a memory of where I've been. I'm also interested in the runes, but Impa said that they weren't for me. Maybe one day.

I finally made it here in one piece. At first I had followed the path, but the monsters were quite overwhelming and I was running low on arrows. I instead climbed through the mountains until I found it was safe to return to the path. It was a gorgeous trek up to Zora's Domain though, and I would take the trip again. Purah's upgardes seem to working wonderfully as well, as every shrine I put my slate to begins to glow! It doesn't open or anything, but she said now that it's on my map I can return here at a moments notice, even back to her lab whenever I needed. I like it here, I may come to visit more often! The King is a lovely man himself. I remember Impa had mentioned that this was one of the safest places to go, but now I just want to go everywhere! On my way over I came across some monuments that seemed to recall an old time, and it brings back memories. I just wish I knew more.

After one of the hottest adventures of my life, I finally made it to Goron City. The elixers were enough to help me get here, but I think it may be wise to buy the gear they sell fo Hylians. I'm sure it'd fit Sheikah just fine. Luckily there was a shrine right at the top of the city, so next time I come here I will not burn so badly! I want to look around for more shrines will exploring, but if the name of the mountain is anything to go by I should be very caerful. Hopefully the chuchu jellies I got will help keep me cool. I also picked up some ore on my way through the mines, Goron's are such lovely people. I don't know what to do with it yet, but for now I shall keep it as a reminder of this place. Tonight I'm going to try a Goron massage before I go to sleep, so I hope that goes well. I am much enjoying myself here beside the unbearable heat.
