Dotty was around in the Hisui age. She was known as Dorothy, and after losing her best friend Ruth, decided she had to have a word to Arceus about it. The repercussions of this is that time no longer effects her body and has been around for hundreds of years. She's seen the changes and achievements of people and Pokemon, but often keeps to herself. She contributed to the first Pokedex with Laventon, and within the past 100 years has worked to become a professor. She specialises in Shiny and Legendary Pokemon, having shinies of her own, and becoming friends with many Legendaries over the years.
Her decidueye has seen the same effects, and have both suffered many loses. They have both liveed long enough to see their old Hisui friends become reincarnated, and make it their mission to teach them about their past life gently.

Sienna was Dorothy's first relationship, and were together for as long as Sienna was alive. Sienna helped Dorothy find an appreciation for her life as it was going to be.
Ruth was the first person Dorothy became close friends with, and they connected very quickly. They were best friends up until Ruth's passing, and keeps her scarf with her at all times.
Lydian is the reincarnation of Sienna, and the two of them fell in love all over again. They share a deep connection, especially after learning about their past life together.
Harper is the reincarnation of Ruth, and Dotty helps her learn about her past life and her aura abilities. They are very close, and Dotty feels the need to protect Harper from all danger.
Dotty meet Audie when travelling in Alola, and is interested in her healing work. They make good friends and even travel together for a while. They meet up often.
Kori was one of the few people Dotty connected with between her old and new friends. She lived in Unova while with Kori, and Dotty was Kori's safe person. Dotty now has Kori's Purrloin.
