  • Anthos' horns are made of wood, but they're hard like antlers. They're quite difficult to break, but even the broken horns can be healed and grown back quickly.
  • Anthos can appear in different forms, such as flowers, animals, trees, and pretty much anything that makes up the Forest of Arcadia.
  • The Guardian has an affinity of Roses. He cannot remember his memories as a simple mortal before he became Arcadia's protector, but he's been drawn to all kinds of roses.
  • Everything in the forest heeds the Guardian's commands. From the blossoming of flowers, to the wilting of leaves. Even animals, if feeling threatened, will be ready to pounce onto his enemies.

Arcadia.

Between the crossroads between Belvar and Cathal lies a vast, deep forest known as Arcadia. Regulars often venture up to only a few miles within using manmade paths to help navigate into and back. However, there's a certain point where Arcadia will hit the deepwoods and would make it near impossible to get back safely without the guidance of their two guardians.

Anthos is the longest living Guardian, but rarely does he show himself to others so willingly. And finding him is near impossible unless you've grasped his attention. Although cold in terms of his manner, he doesn't seem to be bothered and easily amused by humans that venture down. If there was a poor soul lost, he'll perhaps just guide them straight back out (unless they do certain things that displease him or the forest).

Rise of Eden

Others call him a god. But he's simply just a Guardian that took form to protect his home and beloved forest. For reasons why, appear unknown, even for him. Suggestions that other guardians, though with lost memories, his past has developed an affinity and love for the forest - and the soul has now sprouted into something more divine. Thus, creating Anthos.

But he is truly not a god, Anthos knows his lifespan is long but not forever. Out of worry he sought for something to take his place. He befriended a woman who enjoyed the pleasant and peace of the deepwoods - though they never actually talked. Anthos simply watched her presence until she was sent home.
One day she came back with a small child in her arms. Her head up to the covered skies she begged for the "god" to take her boy.

"He has nowhere else to go," she spoke with tears drained from her eyes.

And then she left, with the boy alone to wander. Anthos was confused, but he listened nonetheless. He appeared before him, gave him a part of his blessing and renamed him:

Eden.

 Eden// Apprentice

Before he appeared in this current, human-like appearance, his previous form was a large wandering deer. Over a century ago, he took a liking for a young struggling woman and it was beyond his control to help. Anthos witnessed her abandoning her young child in the forest before she disappeared, and pitied him as he cluelessly wandered the woods. He knew neither his name or his father, but he took him in as his little helper. He named him Eden, and guided him as the secondary guardian to the Forest of Arcadia.

 Aether// Friend

Before Aether came to settle in Cathal, he ventured into Arcadia and his presence alone caught the attention to the Forest's guardian. Only briefly threatened by the blinding light he was emitting, especially with a celestial presence like his, Anthos became comfortable. The Guardian denies his relationship with Aether, but will still (happily) oblige with any sort of help he is needed with.

 Saurin// Arcadia's Most Wanted

For some reason, everyone knows that everything in the forest could come for Saurin's throat. Saurin himself doesn't know why, but Anthos clearly does. His recent rise of Grand Councilor and the "City's strongest Mage," makes him believe that he can do as he pleases both inside and out of the walls. The event of Saurin "accidentally" burning down at least a whole quarter of the forest and spreading wildfires like Hell, Anthos is absolutely angry. Eden is more forgiving (especially how his best friend Siegfried is betrothed to Saurin), but Anthos doesn't.
