Arcadia.
Between the crossroads between Belvar and Cathal lies a vast, deep forest known as Arcadia. Regulars often venture up to only a few miles within using manmade paths to help navigate into and back. However, there's a certain point where Arcadia will hit the deepwoods and would make it near impossible to get back safely without the guidance of their two guardians.
Anthos is the longest living Guardian, but rarely does he show himself to others so willingly. And finding him is near impossible unless you've grasped his attention. Although cold in terms of his manner, he doesn't seem to be bothered and easily amused by humans that venture down. If there was a poor soul lost, he'll perhaps just guide them straight back out (unless they do certain things that displease him or the forest).
Rise of Eden
Others call him a god. But he's simply just a Guardian that took form to protect his home and beloved forest. For reasons why, appear unknown, even for him. Suggestions that other guardians, though with lost memories, his past has developed an affinity and love for the forest - and the soul has now sprouted into something more divine. Thus, creating Anthos.
But he is truly not a god, Anthos knows his lifespan is long but not forever. Out of worry he sought for something to take his place. He befriended a woman who enjoyed the pleasant and peace of the deepwoods - though they never actually talked. Anthos simply watched her presence until she was sent home.
One day she came back with a small child in her arms. Her head up to the covered skies she begged for the "god" to take her boy.
"He has nowhere else to go," she spoke with tears drained from her eyes.
And then she left, with the boy alone to wander. Anthos was confused, but he listened nonetheless. He appeared before him, gave him a part of his blessing and renamed him:
Eden.
