"Gods often overlook mortal values and how important certain things that the divine often find very little care of. I've lived through it first hand. At first, I paid little mind to it, but I've only become curious of my other half.

I left the home I was born in; from the skies and beyond. I descended down to watch and venture in the world that my mother had once called home.

And since the first day, I have not become bored of it. This world is something I hold dear to me, thanks to the people here.""

Strengths

Though partially human, his father being a god gifted him some things that humans don't have. This includes immortality and a lifespan of looking young forever.

He manipulates are from the palm of his hands. Manipulating winds to allow him to float anywhere and anytime.

Aether was bestowed a weapon gifted by his father, to which he names: Thaddeus's Claws. He uses them to fend for himself.

Despite all the strengths above, his most powerful skill is spellsinging. And he's rather known for being a singer, especially being born from the God of Music and Harmony.

Flaws

Some people would take advantage of his kindness, he won't realize his mistakes of trusting mortals until he's done them.

His appearance always brings some sort of unnecessary attention. Sometimes people think of his celestial appearance as a threat,

As kind as Aether is, people still need to be a bit cautious around him - even if he's deems that he won't harm a single soul. However, it's not him at all, but rather his father watching him from a distance...

Skills & Abilities

Son of charlemgane; The greatest Spellsinger
Spellsinging is a skill that all human-like mortals can achieve, not just those with divine powers. Aether, however, is blessed by his own father to have a voice of a god. Know that Aether was born from Charlemagne, and he was meant that he would be one of his father's blessed singing figures (among thousands) to fight against those that threaten their celestial homes.

A spellsinger is when a being can be able to produce a song (in any language) by their own voice and thus can be able to perform a super-human ability while doing so. However, most known/created spellsongs are practically used to either lower one's morale and raise morale and humans were able to only perform that (more people chanting the same song will be more powerful). Another common spellsong would have the ability to communicate with any living creature on Earth. More powerful abilities are more rare (such as manipulation or conjuration) and can be known to more adept spell singers such as Aether, or those that are considered Divine or partially-Divine beings. Let alone, human spellsingers are still considered rare, but still proven valuable.

Gift of Gods: Thaddeus's Claws
Since the day Charlemagne was not there to protect him, he realized he needed something to use to that Aether could fend for himself - especially if the winds he can create are not enough. He given claws that were crafted by another God, Thaddeus.

The claws are rather too large for him to use, as they were as big as his own body. But Aether's conjured winds make him capable of lifting these blades off the ground and moving them as he pleases. In this case, he doesn't have just one claw to work with. Aether's powers give him the ability to conjure an infinite amount of these giant blades, using them to fend off from threatening enemies and even using them as a protective barrier for him and others.

Air and wind manipulation
There had been a reason as to why he was named Aether...

Since birth, manipulating wind and air had been an accidental gift. And since those times, he always used the wind to his advantage and there's never a single second where he doesn't manipulate the winds for his own self being. In fact, he uses those powers to remain floating in the air in his more celestial appearance.

Trivia

  • Aether loves his former home; but because of his father's slightly obsessiveness for his safety, Aether left the Ophiuchus region down to Earth.
    > Rhythmonius was betrayed by one of his allies while working for his father; due to their envy.
    > Aether loses his vision on his left side, and his left eye is forever scarred. The scarring cannot be healed, so Charlemagne gives him a plate and a set of horns to cover it up.
  • Lower-Divine being is a figure who has the appearance of a human being - but has powers beyond a human can have. However, as a Lower-Divine, Aether's powers can overpower a human or anything weaker, but his powers are very limited. Someone who is more divinated, like a god or an angel, can still overpower him.
  • Being the son of a God of Music and Harmony, grants him the blessing to be able to be an adept at every possible instrument given to him.
    > His favorite instrument to play is a harp.
  • He has a human form
    > Typically appears in an all white suit, his horns and mask are gone, and his masked eye is covered by his ridiculously long hair.
  • He currently resides in Cathal, who welcomes him in with open arms (mostly from the Princess of the Kingdom).
    > He doesn't really have a concept of time in normal mortal years because he lives centuries longer than most, if not forever. In this case, he's been with the rulers of Cathal (the Royal bloodline) for a few generations so far.
    > Aether does not like the vast attention from the Kingdom, and he really only exposes his identity of a demigod to the royal family and their close supporters.
    > Otherwise he disguises himself in human form, as a butler.
  • He loves his father dearly, but sometimes he cannot stand him. There's a reason why he's descended from the skies.
    > His father, has unfortunately followed him to the mortal realm. Though because of Aether being upset, he ends up watching him from a distance instead.
  • Despite he enjoys being with humans, he surprisingly doesn't talk very much.
    > Mostly because he's worried that his voice is perhaps would be too much for normal humans.
    > His moans are an aphrodisiac.

Summary

6533749_hUz6ceLHvGufUcH.png

Far above the Earth where the divine spend their lifetime maintaining peace within their world and beyond, Aether was born in the realm of gods and greater beings. Although, this sacrificed his human mother to which he didn't have the ability to live long enough with Aether's father: Charlemagne, the God of all Harmony and Music. His life-span would last forever, in comparison to his mother - only lasting for barely three decades before she died from giving birth to this demi-god. Devastated, Charlemagne continued to raise his boy as carefully as he could but he had mixed emotions towards him when his wife passed. He had more important responsibilities to keep up at the same time looking over his child single-handedly with little or no support from his advisers.  Eventually the God grew fond of his child the more he grew, eventually he'd compare his beauty like his mother - he began to adore him and acted like a doting father. Charlemagne selfishly ignored anyone who tried to volunteer in caring for young Aether and continued to raise him himself - only sometimes disregarding his work of a God. Although human, Aether and his father finds out that the young boy had a voice like no other; a soothing and soft tone to ease away all the stress Charlemagne can withhold. Charlemagne only realizes it until Aether was in his teen phase and now teaches him to become an adept spellsinger. Eventually Aether grows into a fine, beautiful man which Charlemagne still continues to dote on him like on any other day. Although Aether doesn't seem to act like a spoiled son the whole time he was growing - he always watch his father work his way between his son and his responsibilities.

Aether became an expert and eventually almost a master in spellsinging - one of the abilities that his home land grasped onto for such a long time. Let alone, one of the more important abilities that Charlemagne must rely on for his song to work. However, as Aether was half-human his abilities were still limited and prevented him to be able to progress. But he still remained to be better than most spellsingers. Even at adult age and as an experienced spellsinger, Charlemagne continues to lay his attention onto his only son - which brings inner-world problems. Eventually envy is brought throughout the God's advisors and those who surround Aether would grow jealous of his existence. One of Charlemagne's more caring servant and spellsinger eventually brought up the idea of ridding of Aether's existence out of jealousy.

Aether was lead to a trap, he almost costed his life before his voice saved him and Charlemagne appeared... with more anger rising up once Aether had lost his vision on one eye. After he healed his wounds, giving him a pair of horns and a mask to cover it, Aether's father becomes insecure regarding Aether's safety in their homeland. Under his father's commands he was confined to their home for the sake of Aether's safety and he lacked the freedom of being able to roam around the Ophiuchus region without the company of his father. The young man becomes more mindful, feeling as if his existence did burden his father - he makes the final desicion to flee the region and descend down onto Earth's clouds and experience the world his late mother had once lived in before his father brought her home.

The spellsinger acts as one of Earth's smaller guardians and helps those that he thinks is best for Earth. His spellsinging abilities is limited to how well Earth can change from it, but he continues to help contribute with humans that he favors from time to time.

Cathal's golden age

Aether spent years traveling among Earth's lands, but eventually was drawn to the Circle Kingdom known as Cathal. And just outside the vicnity, a few miles from the walls, he stumbles upon a struggling young woman fighting for her life. Aether, who is attached to these mortals, never hesitated to aid her as soon as he saw her troubles. Elabelle owes him her life since then and welcomes Aether into Cathal with open arms.

As to why Rhythmonius was drawn to Cathal, he is currently remaining in the Circle Kingdom until he discovers the origins of this prosperous city. He spends majority of his time with the Princess and her relatives, but he is slowly opening up to venturing outside its castle walls to interact those with the lower class.

But the longer he spends in Cathal, he feels more attached to the Princess and her family and friends. He remains as Elabelle's companion until she is crowned Queen and married to a wonderful young man. Regardless, even after realizing that Aether doesn't need so much of his support, he simply wanders around to do his own thing. Even if he leaves the Kingdom, he is always welcomed by many.

The new blessed princess

The Spellsinger watched the Royal family grow and even extended its bloodline to those outside of Cathal. However, it wasn't until he was tasked to take care of a new, young, and valuable princess. He had been on careful watch since she was born but he was only distant from her until she grew up to become a gifted young woman.

But the whole time, Ennette would only recognize him as her butler. And he hoped he'd remain that way for as long as he can keep it but he wanted to use his powers to brighten her life again - most likely when she had been saddened with the events of her previous lover - and thus Ennette discovering his true form as a powerful spellsinger and a demigod would be inevitable.
Though even after she discovered Aether's true form, all Rythmonius wanted was to provide her happiness - and the only way he believed he could do that was to be her companion and partner until death. And when Ennette wanted to help her father, she ends up venturing outside of her Kingdom. Of course, Aether tags along as he doesn't want to be separated from his lover for long.

Relationships

Ennette

[ Lover ]

Aether has disguised himself as a butler since En rose to power and most likely continued to hide his true identity after Elabelle passed. Therefore, rarely anyone recognizes Aether - let alone his celestial appearance would be familiar to anyone. But the spellsinger has watched Ennette from a close distance as her personal servant; he's one of Ennette's teachers in both music, dance, and some other subjects that he's familiar with. But otherwise after her recent breakup with her previous lover, Aether could not handle whatever sadness that she had been dealt with.

In Aether's true form, he does what he can to cure her sadness. And soon after, Rythmonius realizes that Ennette has become more than just a Princess. He wishes to remain by her side, not as her servant anymore, but as her lover.

Elabelle

[ Close Friend, Former Partner ]

Before Ennette, the only real connection he had with humans was with Elabelle. At the time Aether met Elabelle when she was a warrior-like Princess. who liked venturing into something new but she never wandered far from her home. But the Princess welcomed him to her kingdom, or more likely simply dragged her around.
But since their first day together, Aether never left the Kingdom. Or simply, the Aether would only leave if the Princess had to leave too. They became a wonderous pair but he distanced herself when she married a Prince from another Kingdom. Otherwise, Aether is a loyal companion to Elabelle, her friends, and the royal bloodline.

Charlemagne

[ Father ]

The sole reason as to why Aether, despite appearing as a human, has powers that only other divine creatures and other celestials can use. Aether's father is a God of Rhythm and Harmony. Music and Song is what powers him and render him a powerful entity in both mortal and immortal realms.
Aether's mother, on the other hand, was the human who didn't last long in the celestial realm. And Aether could not remember anything about her. But all he could remember since he was an infant, was that Aether's wellbeing was Charlemagne's highest priority. Aether had always taken the God's attention and care, to a point of obsession (in which occurred after one of his loyal celestial followers grew jealous of Aether existence and treatment). Rythmonius grew tired of his father's doting personality and he was the sole reason why he left the immortal realm and descended into his mother's homeworld.

Arch Angel

[ Acquaintance ]

Arch has recognized someone familiar in the human realm and he couldn't help but be curious as to why he was here. Though he minds his own business regarding Aether's problem with his own father. Despite that the angel tries to give advice to Aether's struggles with the humans, Aether would blantantly ignore it. Even if he warns him about being so attached to humans, Arch supports him wholeheartedly whenever the Spellsinger voices out his feelings for the one he loves.

Regardless, Arch helps him out every few... decades. Most especially if his father is involved and is nearby.
