Riolu was the only child of her parents. Both her mom and dad had marriage and financial issues and as soon as Riolu turned 8, they divorced. Riolu's dad ended up taking full custody of her, but was unable to take care of her due to mental health issues. He wasn't a bad father, he just ended up neglecting her when she needed attention the most. She found comfort in Roku and spent more time with him as they grew up. Once they both couldn't handle the stress of their families, they both ran away in their teen years.

Coroner's Cortex

Riolu is the lead guitarist for an underground visual kei band, Coroner's Cortex. The band focuses on emo rock/heavy metal, often illustrating themes of religious blasphemy, death, and strange, graphic but medically accurate depictions of gore. For their extreme style, they are not as mainstream, but have gathered a very niche but dedicated fanbase.

It was Riolu's dream to form a band and actively worked on her craft to achieve this dream. Roku was a talented singer too, and she begged him to join her. Eventually he let in and they both work hard to keep Coroner's Cortex alive.
