PROFILE
Julia is a sweet, shy, and level-headed country girl that is very protective of animals and kind people. She helps her parents out on the farm, regularly doing laborious chores and dirty work. She's absurdly strong for her height, carrying calves and foals fairly easily and has successfully wrestled and taken down a boar twice her size. Though despite being so strong and tough, she behaves very timidly and shy around folks she doesn’t know or trust. Her older cousin Jeremy regularly protected her from bullies growing up.
At school she sits alone at lunch and keeps to herself, struggling to make friends with people her age. She regularly considers dropping out of high school because of her poor grades and no close friends, but wants to be able to have a job once she finally graduates. She feels more content and at peace when she's back on the farm hanging out with all the horses and chickens, enjoying the quiet outdoors. However, at home she's usually needing to look after her obnoxious little siblings, who all drive her crazy.
EARLY LIFE
Julia was born eight years after her older sister, being the second daughter of two horse ranchers. She grew up being exposed to the farm life very early on, having an obsession with horses since she was a baby. Her room was decorated horse-themed and the majority of her interests revolved around this animal, basically being a horse girl throughout her childhood. She used to try and play with her older sister and get her approval, but was often insulted and angrily told to go away.
When she started school she was timid and quiet, scared to bring attention to herself out of fear of getting laughed at and picked on. The other kids found her boring and hung out with each other instead, Julia struggling to make friends early on. Jeremy did often ride his bike to Julia's home to escape his fighting parents, so she was able to play and spend time with at least someone around her age as a kid. The two of them were childhood best friends and had a lot in common, both being outcasted and friendless in school.

RELATIONSHIPS
JEREMY 🍂
Julia always looked up to Jeremy since they were kids, viewing him like an older brother instead of her cousin. He regularly protected her from bullies in their family and also bullies they would come across in town, Julia feeling bad that he would get hurt while defending her. He often came over to her house, the two of them playing and exploring together.
Julia was devastated when she learned that Jeremy started living with their brutish older cousins, living a life of crime and violence alongside those thugs. She couldn't believe he would ever go down that path, hoping that he eventually breaks out of it.
CODY 🎸
Julia remembers when Cody was really shy and timid, not talking to anyone for days. She helped him gain the courage to express himself and talk to other teens their age, watching him become really popular and adored. Cody still talks to her when they cross paths and mentions to Julia that he's always down for her to join his friend groups.
She's had a crush on Cody for years, with it getting worse when he walked into the cafe Julia works at and asked to be hired. At first she was super nervous while working alongside him, but slowly grew comfortable enough to grow close with him.
LILA 🐇
After becoming close friends with Cody, the two of them slowly falling for each other and going on dates, Cody introduces Julia to his loved ones. One of these found family members is Lila, who was very friendly towards Julia who was meanwhile visibly nervous. The two of them grew to have a sisterly bond with each other, hanging out more and more.
Julia always wished that she didn't have a strained relationship with her older sister due to the constant bullying and insults, and with Lila she was older but genuinely kind to her. Julia found herself admiring Lila while wanting to both tease and impress her.
