The Red Rose that slay demons.
Ayana's story in short:

When she was 14, she saw her mother getting killed by a group of demon that was inside a robber. The demons didn't notice her, so she quietly hides in a cellar, but she accidentally dropped something that was on a high shelf, the Demons are coming!
The thing Ayana dropped was a box containing an oddly shaped katana, Rōzusōn, that she had to use against the demons that took her mother's body against her. Yet, she successfully killed them, not without leaving deep wounds on her whole body...
When she woke up, of course at the hospital, she immediately felt immense pain in her chest. As the doctors took care of her, relieving her pain, she realised something wrong about her own personality...
She was more calm, when the pain was absent, she was kind of an edgy girl, she disliked being idle and was always doing something extreme. Now she surprises herself liking relaxing stuff and activities that requires to be still, even if she does want to move.
Slowly, the pain faded away, the doctors were still worried anyway, Ayana didn't realised yet, but her face lost the ability to show her emotions, one of the obvious symptoms indicating the presence of a Parasitic Demon.
The doctors were scared, they didn't tell Ayana what was wrong with her, and since no cure to Parasitic Demons exist, the doctors decided to put her in a coma. The doctors clearly showed their fear and Ayana noticed, and she feared for her life...
That fear triggered the demon that just finished developing inside her chest, and burst out to protect her host, killing every threat. The Demon introduced herself to Ayana, named Kurobara, and promised to her that she will protect her at any cost.
After the incident, Ayana escaped from the hospital with her Katana, and vanished for a long time. Until a huge invasion of any kind of demons arrived in Japan, where she came back as a Demon Hunter.
