Perhaps a cat like Chillingrain should have never had kits. She was always cold, and crabby and it's a wonder no one killed her before she had her litter due to how unpleasant she was. Now imagine her distaste when she realizes her largest kit is an absolute coward. Already showing her distaste before her personality came out by giving her the name "Burning" it doubled when she saw how much of a baby she had made. Because of this, she played favorites, and perhaps since a young age, she pushed her daughters to be better than they were yesterday. Always wanting more even when they were kits and always particularly focused on Burning, as in her eyes she had so much catching up to do with Frozen she needed an extra firm paw when it came to her standards. Such an upbringing caused Burning to become on edge and defensive of her progress, always worried whatever advice she was given would come back around and she'd be a disappointment to her mother. Even her sister's constant presence and reassurance that their mother didn't know what she was talking about didn't ease her state of mind.

apprenticeship

When they became apprentices they both became trouble. Burning lashing out about how her mother treated her and Frozen trying to pull attention away from her sister. It was perhaps the worst time in Burning's life that she prefers not to think or talk about. She has pushed it mostly out of her mind save for the memory of the day Frozen convinced her to take a stand for herself and they both cut Chillingrain off before their ceremony.

warriorhood

Life has been... Well not easier as a warrior, but it is less outwardly stressful. After her violent time as a teen, she has cooled down and now gone the complete other direction, being a complete pushover who hardly raises her voice out of embarrassment. Even if she wasn't so guilty there is so much to worry about now! BlizzardClan itself, her former friend's kits being murdered... It's just so much all at once!

The only relaxing thing to have happened in recent moons is her mother leaving the clans entirely although even THAT causes her some stress out of worry she'd find her and do something. Burning isn't sure what, but she is worried about it...
