Thank you!!! I love your outfit, the glasses are super cool and I think the bloodstains are such a nice detail, I don't really see people around styling it so fashionably like you do!
Oh yeah, removing viruses or detecting potential exploits is what I do, I had to deal with sooooo many weird things in all the companies I worked at. I do know that virus you're talking about! It used to terrorize many public blog and forum sites, just like a shock site but without the viewer's consent to show up. I hope those pictures weren't real, but if they were... uh... well... people get to weird extents for clout? But thank you so much! I'll do my best!
Hiiii!! Is your hair frosted? It's supes kyuuute! We're kinda like siblings, aren't we? I mean, we're both analysts. I even use computers, too, sometimes! I bet you're good at preventing viruses and stuff, huh? I don't know much about that. I remember there was this one virus going around that'd give you pop-ups with, like, dead bodies in them! People'd call the police department over it but there wasn't anything we could do. Couldn't trace it or anything. I've got no clue if those bodies were real or fake, but it'd be pretty crazy if they were! Could you imagine that, Nadia? Dying -- being brutally *murdered*! -- and then having your body and entrails photographed and spread to the masses? Honestly, I get kind of feverish just thinking about it. It's a good thing we have people like you to stop things like that, huh? Good job! Go, go, Nadia!
A software engineer! I assume that dealing with all the software maintenance is tiresome at times. Good to know that there's someone with a similar occupation as me, if you ever need me to check and test the security of an application or a program feel free to give me a call.
But you can also give me a call if you want to hang out ;)
Oh, goodness, I'd love that. You have no idea how long it's been since I've had a friend my own age. Or, so it feels, ahaha! I'd really love to swap trade secrets together, too. I'll definitely be taking you up on that offer to call, dear. <3
Students would do anything to get the answers for upcoming tests, so you DO hold something that desperate people could try to steal! Though I believe your students would not go to that extent and rather stick to cheating on tests or trying to get answers from previous years.
For your question... technology is constantly changing, most people have a personal computer, older generations are trying to grasp the concept of the world wide web... and there are plenty of security breaches. It is very exhausting, but rewarding nonetheless. That's why I'm excited to see new problems showing up, because I get to use my brains to solve it. A battle of wits between the attacker and the defender until one of them remains.
ohh, security analysis... I'm afraid that kind of thing goes a little bit over my head, haha. I can't say I'm usually in charge of anything people would be particularly interested in stealing. is it exhausting, trying to keep up? the world is changing so quickly... I can only imagine that just as soon as you find a solution to one problem, someone else finds three other ways to get around your defenses. (at least, that's how I feel with trying to prevent cheating on some of my exams...)
It is secure physically but I wouldn't say the same digitally! I work at a company, part of my information is on the database, a breach would compromise myself alongside the entire business. Of course, it doesn't reach the extent of your nightmares, it's still quite challenging and stressful at times.
And I need to ask you this real quick, did you really like the company of someone that was trying to kill you in your sleep? Or is it just that you want to sleep besides someone? Aren't you afraid? Not even a little bit? How did it make you feel?
someone with a job such as yourself must feel very secure. i don't! once someone came into my home through the window and crept over to my bed when i was fast asleep and waited until my eyes opened to take me by the throat. for some reason i couldn't move and i couldn't see anything else, just their smile. hehe. then i could only wait as they lovingly ghosted a knife over the delicate skin of my throat. and they began to press. and then i woke up! that's right, it was all just a dream. but i think that i would like my mystery dream shadow to come back. i liked the company.
It's cool but it gets boring sometimes... and straining on the eyes, having to look at the screens for long in search of any suspicious activities.
I think what you do is interesting, to know where to put the wires and connections so everything works correctly without shortcuts. Do you like being an electrician or do you find it boring? Do you find tediousness in the repetition?
Security junk! I know that one, aheh…
Kinda. Not really. Security /cameras/, maybe. I just plug ‘em in where I’m told. I, uh, I don’t think I could ever really wrap my head around the logistics of all that stuff. I bet it’s pretty cool though, yeah? Computer-y… stuff.
Aha! There is a clear difference between the two: I'm not a buffed guy able to stop a dangerous guy. I do computer stuff, not physical stuff.
Hmm. Blue. Isn't a security analyst just a security guard. I didn't think there was a difference.
It sure is something smart! I'd go into the details about it but I think you'll only hear technical and tehcnological gibberish, hehehe.
So, a security analyst is a job responsible of keeping unathorized individuals out of a company's digital assets! You wouldn't like to see all your client's personal data leaking from your database and lose all the trust with them because of it. I do recommend you hire one! Here's my business card if your interested in my services. Feel free to give me a call, or not!
God, I can’t even comprehend what in the world you do, but I know it’s definitely somethin’ smart. Bet no one’s getting the up on you with some smart qualifications like those! Or, maybe they are… what the hell is a security analyst?! Should I hire one? You?
Exactly!! You understand me so well, people think they can put personal information on the web and think it's on good hands just for that information to get stolen in a cyberattack. The world wide web is expanding itself at a fast pace too... so many things to keep an eye for...
By the way, a little out of topic but I love your outfit!! Really fits that web developer vibe!
I d-don't think mmost people appreciate hhow crucial your job is. Computers are more prevalent in day to, to day life than ever befffore. People take ffor granted that their important things are lock-cked up safe. Bbut I think they fforget that, digital asset-ts can also be sst-stolen, or exploited. Out of sight, out, of mmind, right?
