THE FIRST
The First of the three Creators is the guardian of air, creation, and the inner spirit of all living things. The creatures of the Northern Lakes region believe it takes the form of a lynx. Like the other three Creators, the First is enormous. Its body is covered in colourful, feathery fur, with longer wisps that morph into invisible currents of air, sometimes breaking off and forming clouds. It is often depicted with two pairs of wings and extra feathers on its body. Its Children are of the felidae family.

The First of the three Creators and the Nine deities is the eldest of all the Nines, its form spun from the most pure and ancient elements. It is known as the Keeper of the Cosmos, and is the guardian of the vast and eternal domain of space. With every breath the First takes, the universe expands, and all creatures are said to be born of its blood.

In the primordial era, the First extended its powers of creation to its fellow deities, encouraging them to create life as they wished. The First is the most artistic of the Nines and could almost always be found with its paws buried in the primordial clay, sculpting strange new pieces of life to occupy the Earth. It is responsible for creating the bulk of life on Earth, having creations vast as the tiniest bug to the most enormous sprawling tree.

Though the First was kind to the mortals as any other Nine was, it held little interest in their affairs, loving the process of their creation more than sparing any focus to the resulting entities or how they would go on to develop lives of their own. The First was seldom satisfied with its designs for long, and when its clay ran dry, it spared no second thought in reducing its previous creations to their base elements to sculpt something new.
