Mimikos always has a wide grin on his face. If he spots a new face he will be the first to rush up to them, give them an excited hand shake, introduce himself and get to know you. His happy, excited aditude can either be infectious or unsettling to those around him causing most to either want to be near him or run, far, far away.

Born as one half of a twin paring Mimikos found the start of his childhood full of happiness and prosperity. His family wanted for little and he was free to express himself however he wished leading him to be a happy little child.
Eventually he became old enough to help out with the family business, this being MC's for large plays and performances. The first time he was allowed on stage to introduce the next act his face beamed with the largest smile that he had ever smiled. The energy and excitement that flooded the room was intoxicating.
Over the next few days his smile stayed with him as he was happy and content with the help he was able to give others. However as the initial excitement for all of it stated to fade, so did his grin. Those around him started to point this out saying things like 'where did your grin go?', 'I really miss your smile' and 'your smile makes you look really hansom'. Soon these remarks started to feel less like a request or observation and more like a demand. His happiness was no longer a option but a necessity in order to keep everyone content.
At first he wasn't sure how to feel about this. He wanted to make others happy but it was hard to keep smiling at times. One night before he was going to go out and be the MC for a performance he wasn't feeling super up for it and started to talk to the group manager about it. The manager nodded his head and said that if he wasn't up for it his brother could replace him. A normal Animalian may have understood this comment as that Mimikos would just be replaced for that night by his twin, but Mimiko saw that comment for what it could be. His twin brother was his replacement. If Mimikos couldn't bring his joy and smile to everything he did then his more moody, sad brother would take everything Mimiko had.
From that day on Mimiko did his best to smile, be jovial and joking everywhere he went. If another Animalian was nearby he would be happy no matter what. He had come into the world with a replacement and if he didn't measure up to what others wanted then he could easily be thrown out.
Over the years Mimiko found himself sharing a stage with his brother despite his best efforts to push Imitarus out of the line light. The crowd loved how the two of them embodied the duality of comedy and tragedy and by playing into this the two of them became increasingly popular MC's allowing them to get better and better gigs.
Unable to push Imitarus off the stage with him without causing people to get upset Mimiko decided to instead do everything he could to control his brother. If he made sure that his twin was the smaller, more quite and forgettable half then no one would think that Imitarus could replace Mimiko.
He started controlling Imitarus in a few different ways. From making sure he didn't eat as much to keep him small from making sure that any complements thrown his brothers way either didn't reach Imitarus's ears or if they did that Imitarus thought they were just pity complements.
Eventually as they got older Mimiko's desires became more then just controlling his twin brother, he wanted to be Imitarus. He tried to ignore these desires, but when he watched his twin being able to emote and be more then just tragedy he got angry, wanting that for himself. When he saw this happening he made sure to let Imitarus knew that being happy was Mimiko's thing, Imitarus was tragedy and couldn't be happy. If Imitarus didn't want to be tragedy then Mimiko would take it from him, as well as Imitarus's name and life. Weather this meant that Mimiko would kill his twin to replace him or just take his title neither Mimiko or Imitarus knew. All Mimiko knew was that if Imitarus wasn't content with his role then Mimiko would take it. If the opportunity to get rid of his replacement then Mimiko would do it and if he would be able to be more then just comedy in exchange that would be even better.
The two still perform together on stage often painting their faces white or wearing white masks to help make their happy and sad expressions more visible. They have a bit that they sometimes do where they attach themselves at the tail to each other acting like they are two parts of the same person as they wander about on stage causing laughter and excitement from the crowd. Mimiko is always the center of attention in their performances and will often use jokes to belittle his twin causing the crowd to laugh. This laughter is something that Mimiko will then use against his twin stating that they are laughing at him. Mimiko is the one that controls all the scripts and performances the two brothers take up. If you need them to act for you, then its Mimiko you go to.
call to adventure
1) if a player wishes to play as Mimiko they could snap after someone gives them negative criticism (or tells them to smile one. more. time) and runs away from life. Could consist of him killing someone on his way out. Now he joins up with a group of adventures trying to get away from his old life, but so help him if someone asks him why he isn't smiling.
2)alternatively, he could be in need of finding a new act to MC for so he goes out adventuring in search of a good act that needs someone charismatic to introduce them.
if no call to adventure is heeded then he will be chased backstage after a crowd boos him off for making a bad/ off color joke. Back there he will kill his brother and try to hide the body and replace him. Anyone that asks where he went he will just shrug, however he can't keep the ruse up for long and is eventually caught and thrown into a prison or beheaded.
