These twins are a pair of witches currently caught in quite the predicament. Because of their lazy natures and unwillingness to properly check their work before delving into their magics, the pair of them weren't prepared for a simple lock spell to go wrong, back fire, and end up trapping them inside their shared apartment. Its been months since either of them have stepped foot outside of their front door. Which in turn has left their apartment in shambles, filth everywhere and the cupboards all but empty, and both Hecate and Calixto at the edge of sanity. With no real food, and tired of turning their nick-nacks and books into something edible, the twins are growing quite desperate to escape... even daring to suggest summoning demons and preforming dark rituals to get out. Though just how far they're willing to go for their freedom has yet to be seen.
Personality
Both Hecate and Calixto are extremely lazy. Their mother was a powerful enchantress and as such, any time they ever needed anything, she'd simply will it into existence for them. This learned helplessness as children has resulted in them being utterly unmotivated and uninterested in most things as adults. And though they possess the potential to be great like their mother, their lack of dedication often leads the pair to fail in their attempts of grandeur as their current predicament will showcase.
Hecate
Hecate is the more friendly of the pair, though it isn't saying much. While he enjoys socializing with humans, and toying with them as he sees fit, the mage is still rather cruel and crass to anyone who isn't his dear brother. He also enjoys cooking and reading, though dreads any cleanup. So even if he loves those hobbies, he avoids them most of the time.
Calixto
Calixto is the more callous of the twins. He doesn't care for much, aside from his brother, and finds it annoying that Hecate likes to play nice with the humans. In fact, he finds it down right irritating that his brother even entertains such 'lowly' beings, let alone pretends to be friends with them. His only real hobby is seeing how he can fool and irritate his brother, a strange sign of his affection towards the other.... which doesn't help with their spells often going wrong.

Character Notes
- Together, they're known as the Hex Twins... though not because of their magic, but rather how they fail at properly casting it.
- Calixto is the older twin... by two minutes and two seconds to be exact.
Design Notes
- Calixto does have an undercut with his bun.
- Hecate paints his fingernails black.
- The twins are identical with the only exception being the moles they have on their bodies. The easiest way to tell them apart is that Hecate has two moles on his face while Calixto only one.
- Both boys have an array of scars on their bodies from failed spells and projects. The most notable are the rope marks around their necks and wrists.

Madam Circe [ Mother ]
The twin's mother and sorceress renowned for her powerful magics. She loves her boys dearly, but has grown tired of their utter lack of motivation to do, well... anything. In an effort to remedy the situation, she kicked them out and left them to fend for themselves. Though even still, she tries to keep a watchful eye on her children to ensure they are kept out of any true harm's way.
Hel [ Situational Mentor ]
Hel is very much like an astranged uncle to the twins. He's known them since they were young through their mother, Madam Circe, and spent some time looking after them. He even taught them some of his own tricks when it comes to magic. And though he has cared for them in the past, the necromancer finds the pair rather insufferable for the most part.
Julian [ Cousin ]
The twin's only cousin. He's quiet and always keen to join in on whatever plans the boys have for the day, so both Hecate and Calixto don't mind taking Jules under their wings when he's around. Though, they have an inkling that there's more to their cousin's eagerness to join them than simply spending time together.
Ixion [ Grandfather ]
The head of House Hope and the twins' grandfather. Like all of the Hopes, the twins have grown used to seeing Ixion pop in and out of existence as both his older and younger self. The pair rather enjoy the antics that the older Hope gets up to, and hope that one day he'll teach them how to manipulate time as well. Ixion just might as well... if they can ever get off their butts and actually put any effort into anything.
Aster [ Acquaintance ]
A fellow witch that the twins know through the cousin, Julian. They don't really know much about Aster himself, aside from the fact that he's near magicless... but absolutely revel in the fact that their cousin has the biggest crush on the red head imaginable. They're just waiting for the right moment to embrass Julian about it.
Yessi [ Peer ]
Another young mage that the twins know from childhood. Whenever they were together, Hecate and Calixto enjoyed tormenting Yessi to the point that now the other is terrified of them and their antics. He tries his best to avoid the both of them.
