General Info
Alex is one of Camerahead's friends, who tries his best at things - but doesn't do very well. He's a pretty boring character in comparison... OR IS HE?!!?!?!??!?!!?!?!?
My boy Alex has a laid-back personality, barely giving a shit about the world around him, and being a pessimist to anything he's involved in. He is rather sweet to his friends, however,
As for his voice, it's soft and slightly high-pitched, and has a generic Nordic accent.
Backstory
Alex isn't really keen on revealing his past to anyone, even if a close friend asks. If pressured, he'll say that he was born and raised in Akureyri, Iceland. When he was 18, he moved away from his (estranged) family to the United States. That's it. Kind of anticlimactic, don't you think?
In reality, Alex was born in the US, and lived there with his parents and his older brother, Jack. When he was three, his mother, Anne, found out that his dad was cheating on her - even having a third child! - and so they split. Alex's mother took custody of him and moved to her hometown of Akureyri, raising Alex herself. (His father took custody of Jack, in addition to the third child.)
As time went on, Alex grew more curious about what happened to the other half of his family. He eventually found out that his dad had died in 2008, and Jack was living by (and working to support) himself.
There are several questions here; who is Alex's dad? What happened to the third child? Is this version of his backstory also fake? That'll be answered much later. I don't want to give everything away, now do I?
Anyways, once Alex moved to the US, he took up residence in a small Oregon town called Eagle Pine. At first, he lived in a trailer by himself, working on a YouTube channel that he currently keeps under wraps. As time went on, though, Alex got in contact with the mysterious Benefactor, who offered him a deal too good to turn down.
In a nutshell, Alex would get a cool house - known as Greenacres - and enough income to live comfortably, but he couldn't leave Eagle Pine itself. Needless to say, Alex accepted it, and now he sits around and, when not getting owned by McKinley, eats pizza and plays video games. Who is the benefactor? Where do they get the money from? What is their relation to Alex? I'm not in a position to tell you the answer.

- Alex collects video games. Admittedly, it's not a very big collection - around 37 items - but it's something.
- His favorite color is mauve, and his favorite foods (or snacks) are jerky and pretzels.
- Alex has a gluten allergy.
- One of his favorite hobbies is cooking!
- Alex loves cats! He owns one, a tabby named Michael.
- He has a fear of (and thus hates) rats and mice.
- He's a furry in denial.
- His fursona is Eli the Fox, which he has a fursuit of.
- Alex knows both English and Icelandic - the former of which he had to relearn due to his time in Iceland.
- Once, he fell off of a couch while half-asleep. He was never the same afterwards.
- Despite what his surname implies, his dad's first name is NOT Hilmar. He was given that surname by his mother, whose last name is Hilmarsdóttir (female version of Hilmarsson).
