Thennakarsis

General Info

Thennakarsis is the oldest of Gun'harand's children. Suffering from form degradation, Thenna lives inside a fursuit 24/7 to deal with it.

Thenna's kind of a dick to (and likes to mess with) everyone, including Gun'harand and the other members of Sol Invictus. When it comes to missions, it's wise not to double-cross or ignore Then's orders, unless you want to get an ass whooping. But that's only when the higher-ups are watching; when they aren't, he's quite easy to reason with.

Fittingly, his (deep) voice has an arrogant, smug tone. Apart from that, it's pretty generic.

Depending on his mood, Thennakarsis' fursuit changes appearance. If he's riled or wound up in any way, it becomes an unsettling fusion of a fursuit and an actual, organic dog. And if he's angry, Thenna becomes a full-on werewolf.

Backstory

Ever since he was born, Thennakarsis lived in the shadow of their parent, Gun'harand, due to a lack of interest in doing anything. In addition, he was given no eyes by Gun'ha, meaning that he had no form to work with. As a result, Thenna had to attach himself to various suits to do normal things.

Despite all of this, their relationship was pretty good, and Thenna completely supported whatever Gun'harand did... until the Frozen Fortress incident. While searching frantically for Gun'ha, Thenna came across a wounded Kylik, and saved her from certain death. Once she recovered, she told Thenna all about what happened during the event. Thennakarsis wanted to confront Gun'ha about this, but decided not to, due to how dangerous they were at the moment.

To add on to this, Thenna was asked to track Shizue down (and later guard Gun'harand's fortress) during the time of the Unity. He had heard of the group, but didn't know the full story until much later, when the New Unity broke into the fortress and came across (and informed) him of their misdeeds. When he was confronted with their parent's wounded body, Thenna nearly killed them on the spot, but didn't as he believed that Gun'ha would get their revenge somehow. So, he healed them, albeit reluctantly.

(Sometime between the Fortress and Unity incidents, Thennakarsis became a furry. That's a story for another time.)

Thenna broke away from his parent after they were healed, but came back after learning about their cult, Sol Invictus. After some reconciliation, Thenna joined the cult, and eventually became the taskmaster for Sol Invictus' "Backstage Team". In a shellnut, he tells the team - which consists of assassins, hackers, and general saboteurs - what to do for the cult. 

He IS plotting against the cult though, albeit in a subtle fashion; not going after traitors, delaying missions, and so on. Thenna's just waiting for the right moment to strike...

Fun Facts

• Thennakarsis' favorite colors are black and white. Not really a surprise.
• Another unsurprising fact; Thenna's favorite animals are huskies.
• Thennakarsis loves the rain. Well, only the sounds of it; he hates it when his suit gets wet.
• He likes to draw! And that's all I will say about that.
• Thenna has agoraphobia, although he vehemently tries to deny this.
• His bandana has the Harand family crest on it.
• Thenna used to look like a cat, but changed to a husky after Gun'harand's first defeat (around 338 AD).
• Nobody has ever seen Thennakarsis outside of his fursuit. This is widely considered to be a good thing.
• Speaking of his fursuit, its mouth can move and open, but Thenna prefers to keep it shut.
