Lexi is good friends with Peter's coworker Elle, and so Elle introduced the two. Peter liked Lexi right away--he appreciated her gentle presence and inquisitive mind. Lexi, in turn, saw much to like about Peter, whom she viewed as patient and thoughtful. The pair have since become close friends, with Peter serving as Lexi's protection against anxiety, and Lexi encouraging Peter not to be shy.

Lexi is Ixel's twin sister, and it was she who introduced Ixel and Peter. Ixel initially found Peter to be overly proper and concerned with rules, and so she became determined to shake him up! Peter was not initially thrilled by this prospect, but ultimately warmed to Ixel once he saw how much fun she could be. Ixel is glad to see Peter enjoying himself more--she finds him to be highly intriguing and an enjoyable companion.

Stardust is one of Lexi's best friends, and so she brought Stardust and Peter into acquaintance. Peter finds comfort in Stardust's bravery and kind heart, and looks at her a bit like a big sister. Stardust is thus protective of Peter, although she also encourages him to come out of his shell. Under Stardust's tutelage, Peter is beginning to gain in confidence himself.

Elle is one of the historians at the museum where Peter works, and she was one of the first to help him feel comfortable there, eventually introducing him to all her friends. She is witty, outgoing, and sophisticated, all traits that appeal to Peter. Elle also has a kind heart, and thus does all that she can to assuage Peter's shyness. Peter is deeply appreciative of Elle's friendship--she has opened up a whole new world for him.

Blu and Peter have come to know one another due to the fact that Blu is Peter's friend Lexi's husband. Peter admires brave and stately Blu, and is especially impressed with his travels throughout space and time. Blu recognizes Peter's shyness, and therefore does his best to bolster Peter's confidence. Peter is beginning to believe that someday he can follow in Blu's footsteps when it comes to bravery!

Zap is Peter's friend Ixel's husband, and so she introduced him to Peter. He is full of energy, zany, and cheerful, and although these qualities took Peter aback at first, he ultimately warmed to Zap. Zap has noticed Peter's ability to be resilient, and never stops reminding him of his capabilities. Slowly but surely, Zap has helped Peter to develop confidence.

Claira was introduced to Peter by her wife (and Peter's friend) Stardust. Claira is a girl after Peter's own heart--she too is gentle, a bit timid, and thoughtful. Peter has thus formed a close bond with Claira. Nowadays, they regale one another with stories of their past travels, and dream up new adventures to partake in together.

Malaki is Peter's coworker Elle's husband, leading him to make Peter's acquaintance. Peter enjoyed Malaki's jolly nature right away, and found much to admire in him. Malaki also enjoys Peter's company--he views him as delightfully sophisticated. The pair currently enjoy trading their respective bases of knowledge (art for Peter, natural history for Malaki), and both have a wonderful time doing so!

Anatoly met Peter after he fled imprisonment in Russia and sought aid from Peter's friend Zap, who introduced the two. Right away, Peter was smitten by Anatoly's bravery and pacifism. Anatoly also came to love Peter's gentle heart, and the two are now married. Peter is thrilled to have found the love of his life in Anatoly, who he feels helps him to be a stronger person.
