Lexi and Blu are husband and wife--the two originally met online before their relationship materialized into the "real world." They quickly fell deeply for one another, becoming tightly bonded. Blu is protective of, yet gentle towards, Lexi, and treats her like a queen. Lexi does all that she can to return Blu's affection, and feels wildly lucky that he has chosen her as his partner.

Ixel is Lexi's sister, and is thus Blu's sister-in-law. Blu found her to be intriguing right away, but was initially a bit concerned at her apparent jealousy regarding his relationship with Lexi. However, as Ixel got to know Blu better and saw how well-matched he and Lexi were, the "green-eyed monster" went away. Ixel now enjoys good-naturedly teasing her brother-in-law, with Blu only too happy to return her friendly jibes.

Stardust is Lexi's best friend, and thus Lexi connected her and Blu. Blu quickly came to respect Stardust, as he saw her grit, coupled with her kindness, as impressive strengths. Stardust saw similar strengths in Blu, viewing him as a brave and compassionate soul. The two now take comfort in each other's presences, adding to one another's already considerable attributes.

Ixel introduced Elle and Blu, as Elle is her best friend. Blu was taken with the vivacious Elle upon sight, finding joy in her cheerful savoir faire. Elle, for her part, found Blu to be a fascinating, intellectually stimulating, and kind-hearted companion. Nowadays, the pair take delight in going out on the town and getting into all sorts of adventures together.

Zap is Blu's cousin--he is a genetically modified cheetah created in part from the DNA of a distant relative of Blu's. He found out about Blu when researching his lineage after escaping the lab in which he was created, and the two kept up a correspondence until Zap was able to move to New York. Blu was delighted to find that Zap was as cheerful, resilient, and daring as he had seemed in his letters, and was thrilled to officially welcome him into his family. Zap greatly admires Blu's bravery and graciousness, and is heartened by the fact that the two can now be a part of each other's everyday lives.

Claira is Blu's cousin Zap's dearest friend, and Zap brought her with him when he moved to New York, thus introducing her and Blu. Blu immediately took to Claira--he was able to tell that she had a difficult life, but was still resilient. He has thus become protective of the gentle, thoughtful Claira, and has assured her that she will always be a part of his "herd." As a result, Claira adores Blu--she feels completely safe around him.

Malaki and Blu met when Malaki began working as a tour guide at the museum where Blu's friend Claira works. Blu was unsure of what to make of Malaki at first--he feared that Malaki was pompous intially. However, after Claira came to develop a bond with Malaki, he and Blu started to spend more time together, whereupon Blu discovered Malaki to be generous, cultured, and a bon vivant. Malaki is also happy to call Blu his friend--he admires Blu's distinguished air and brave spirit.

Anatoly and Blu met shortly after Anatoly escaped imprisonment in Russia and contacted Blu's cousin Zap for help. Blu was impressed by Anatoly's grit and integrity right away, viewing him as a kindred spirit. In turn, Anatoly saw qualities to admire in Blu--he appreciates Blu's bravery and patience. The two now enjoy trading stories of their past adventures, as well as coming up with ideas for future ones!

Peter was introduced to Blu by his friend Elle after he became a tour guide at the museum where Elle works. He is a bit timid, but behind this layer lies a loyal, compassionate, and cultured soul. Blu came to see this over time, and thus now feels close to Peter. For his part, Peter is grateful for Blu's protection and advice, and considers him a dear friend.
