Appearance
Short and lean with messy dark hair, and well-worn clothes, Cade fits the picture of a working man. He's led a rough life and has chipped teeth, a bit of a scar between his eyebrows, and a nose that's somewhat crooked and flat to show for it. Still, he looks younger than he actually is, in part due to a pact he made with The Corpse, leading people to guess he's only around 19 or so.
The strangeness of The West has left its mark upon him. Cade habitually wears gloves in front of others to hide that the bones of his right hand are visible through red, translucent flesh. Following his pact with The Corpse, something about him feels off to others. People guess that it's something to do with his eyes as it feels uncomfortable to make eye contact with him. As well, the faint musty, sweet scent of wood dry rotting lingers in the air, wherever he goes.
Personality
A history of getting fucked over and put last, Cade has a deep distaste for authority figures, a hard time trusting other people, and a firm belief that most people will screw him over if they are given half the chance. Cade is typically quiet and minds his own business in a desperate attempt to protect himself, until boldness suddenly strikes. He holds grudges, and hides anger. An outburst from him is a long time coming, but appears to others as a sudden violent temper.
Clever, but impulsive. Cade can usually worm his way out of the messes he finds himself in, but he wouldn't be there in the first place if it wasn’t for his lack of self control. Cade deals best with the here and now. Long running consequences, however, tend to slip his mind. He can come up with the craftiest little plan to immediately get himself out of a bind, only to have the fallout of it be just about as bad as the initial situation.
Cade desperately wants to feel valued by others and is more than willing to act a fool in front of people he likes so he can get them to laugh. To him, being a hard worker alone is never enough. You've got to give people as many reasons as possible to keep you around, even if it means degrading yourself.

Relationships
Partner/Friend
The two met during a job, and opted to stick together after it ended due to bonding over their odd experiences surrounding death. Albright has always been nice to him, even if he was distant at first. Now the two are quite close, splitting costs, working as a pair, and talking about plans of owning land together. They've never much talked about what exactly the nature of their relationship is. But, Cade can't imagine his life without Albright. Life with just the two of them, for however unnaturally long their lives may be. For the first time in a long time, he means everything to another person and he wants to make sure Albright knows how much that means to him.
In a Pact With
Cade made a pact with the devil in order to save Albright. A life for a life.
