Eiloente, formerly one of Alinor’s ‘Eagle’s Kiss’ agents, is a retired Thalmor agent who married into the Orin family with great difficulty. Despite no longer playing a part in Alinor’s dark political game, she still keeps on top of the local conspiracies.

Eiloente married into the Orin family after three years of clashing heads with Ancalis, Alinor’s serving Magus. Eiloente couldn’t stand the mer at first through his persistent bothering. Ancalis vied for her favour over and over and failed time and time again. Still, as headstrong as she was, she admired his persistence. The Orins were well known for their unique and powerful affinity for magic and knowledge of the arcane. As an Altmer who specialised in stealth techniques and even assassinations, their pairing was complicated to approve. Eiloente’s younger brother, Coreron, was a troubled young mage who didn’t quite fit in. Ancalis offered to take on Coreron as an apprentice for several years, not only teaching Coreron to be a competent mage but demonstrating the compatibility of the two bloodlines through the apprenticeship. He also offered to try and gain more of Eiloente’s favour. Their union was approved after Coreron graduated.

Eiloente continued with her work within the Eagle’s kiss, her knowledge of Alinor’s hidden secrets only benefiting Ancalis and half of the illegal artifacts he housed in his Arcaneum. Together, with their political ties, they were a couple not to be trifled with. Eiloente served as Ancalis’s bodyguard in several ways, warding off multiple attacks on the Orin family as much as she could. Occasionally her efforts weren’t quite enough, but in the end they would recover and strike at the perpetrator together. Their relationship was a delicate balance between life and death until the political riots in Alinor began to calm down in the wake of the Great War.

Ancalis was posted abroad during the Great War with Coreron, and although Eiloente tried all she could to join their force she was unable to and continued to serve under the Eagle’s Kiss in Alinor. After four years of war Ancalis returned without Coreron. Eiloente began to despise him and blame him for not protecting her brother through her grieving, but eventually grew to understand that it wasn’t her husband’s fault. She retired from the Eagle’s kiss and decided to sit back from further violence and asked to settle with Ancalis. She had her first child, Elenlae, just as Ancalis agreed to become a sponsor for a khajiit agent in the Thalmor - Velani. Eiloente grew to know Velani as a friend, even if she was clueless that Ancalis was her sponsor, and made sure to share the tips of her trade to help the young khajiit survive in the capital. Their lives were steady until, rather suddenly, Ancalis decided that he was resigning as Magus and wanted to be posted abroad for an unknown amount of time. Despite her objections, Eiloente couldn’t get Ancalis to change his mind even after trying to file some legal action against him to get him to stay. She took over maintaining the arcaneum whilst raising Elenlae.
