Lylcano was born into the family of a revered Battlereeve in the city of Alinor at the very beginning of the Fourth Era. At the time, Alinor was occupied entirely by the Thalmor and the ruling party had ambitions that clashed with that of the Empire's. The Thalmor assassinated the acting power head of the Empire and seized control of Alinor and the Summerset Isles, expunging those of non-mer descent from the Isles. Living in the midst of this as a child, Lylcano grew to believe in a natural self-supremacy and adopted a clear Xenophobia as with many on Alinor at the time. Lylcano wasn't entirely magically proficient but due to his Altmeri blood he is still able to shape magic to the best of his abilities outside the ranks of sorcerers and mages. As his father was a Battlereeve Lylcano was taught the arts of battle both recreationally and professionally and later turned it into his livelihod - mixing both his ability as a soldier on the battlefield with his magical ability in restoration casting and morphing. Lylcano joined the Thalmor alongside his lifelong friend, Ancalis, and served as city guard for many years. Later in the era Lylcano was posted to Auridon for a number of weeks. Upon his return he had found his family home subjected to arson and both his parents had perished. Lylcano had months of a dark period where he could not draw from anything but grievance. He was taken in by Ancalis's parents for support though they soon treated him as their own and he learnt to deal with the loss of his parents through their support.

When the Great War with the Empire broke out Lylcano was posted to the Hammerfell Front alongside Ancalis and his brother-in-law, Coreron. During this conflict Lylcano suffered severe injuries - one of which resulted in the amputation of the lower left of his leg. Coreron was lost in the battle alongside Ancalis's father in Cyrodiil. Due to the severity of Lylcano's wound he retired from the frontline Thalmor and instead worked within the ranks of the Reeves in Alinor, even managing to find a way to have a word in the on-goings within the Crystal Tower. Although he is still prone to antics and such, Lylcano settled somewhat and gained a son from what was probably the only mer other than Ancalis with the will to put up with him at the time.

► Pesonality

A natural prankster and a mer of little humility, Lylcano can quite readily be labelled as an idiot. He's extremely laid back and tries to make a joke in even the darkest times to keep those around him occupied and positive. Generally optimistic, Lylcano is very family and friend orientated. He thrives in social environments and has done so since he was just a child - this also allowed him to perfect the ability to sweet talk people into things they wouldn't otherwise do without a push into it. Lylcano enjoys experimentation and risks- this applies to both his personal life and his work life - he won't think twice before stumbling face first into a dangerous situation if there is a viable reward at the end of it. When it comes to other races Lylcano doesn't quite understand that there are things that shouldn't be said. He is generally very forward and blunt in his speech but this trebles with those outside of his kin - making him invountarily racist and unable to fully comprehend that they are as capable as the High Elves. A very capable warrior, Lylcano boasts of his own abilities quite often as well.
