Personality
Often reserved but a proud family man, Jouska is nothing more than a humble gravedigger of the Catholic Church, caring for the living and the deceased // who sunrise and sunset, and the ones who refuse to sleep after dusk.
Slow to anger and to forgive, yet he always wears a sad and somber face as though he's sorry for whatever he is. A sweet ole man truly, desiring no more than to rest his bones on a bed that smells of neroli and coffin varnish.

HABITS
"June 25, 1981." Jouska announces the date each time he wakes. "Sed mi metus, tempus ac erat et, congue rutrum velit." And recites lost texts with no meaning. Nearly broken.
Introduces himself as a humble grave digger even though he's slaying literal jumbies and gouls to keep grave sites and the local city towns n villages calm..
Stares blankely during conversation, often forgetting to voice his responces aloud.

The bookman rose a corpse above the soil. Someone to watch over and care for the dead so that the number of rogues and angered jumbies will amount to a low. Someone who was, and has already been broken, wanting nothing more and nothing less. Someone they can easily manipulate and mould into a modelled image. They brought Jouska back from the dead as a mere, feeble skeleton from the [insert year], broke him down again and remodelled him again and again. He was likely conscious.

"After yuh's don' not a white man, what you want five shirts for? I fine I ironing too much shirts dan" Pionsettia seeing after Jouska's house (Meaning that his fur's not white so why try to wear white clothing everyday for whatever work he's working when he comes home dirty everytime). Jouska, about to enter through the back door, hears this and desides that he'll bring her to his work site a day. Poinsettia rhetorically complains but goes with him reluctantly because what could he possibly be trying to show her. Still optimistic tho.
She was working mutiple jobs to pay off her rent.
Jouska isn't used to domestic work to he'd struggle a bit with the inside work. Poinsettia noticed
Poinsettia's trying to season Jouska enough into being more independent (mans like saffron rice) tho in the process then ended depending and relying on each other. Soon to be comfortable enough to just say that they're married so people wouldn't look at Poinsettia weird and distastefully.

Abilities
Lagahoo.
General abilities of a Lagahoo involves: [Shapeshifting]-Only up to half of the body at a time. [Blood of wine]-Anywhere from bone dry to very sweet, a delicacy if found out. [Blood currency]-Items marinated in holy oil/water for 9 day straight kills, you just have to jump him and break the skin. Blood (when mixed with holy oil/water) will take on a blue-black appearence whilst having the consistency of liquid nitrogen. Oil is tuffer to rid than water but less accessible. Once dead, all blood of that specific lagahoo, bottled for wine or not, turns into gold. Providing their hunter options in their reward.
The Eighth Plague.
Jouska is one with his birds. He can call anywhere from a single, to a flock of doves from his mouth similar to a locust swarm. If not cautious enough, he can easily render himself feeble to the point of Ataxia or worse, leaving him vurnerable. In addition, his pigeons are his eyes (primarily his main 3 often perched on his sholders); able to scout a small city-town to find his target before making a move.
{Consequences}-The last person to be with the current Lugar are typically cursed into becoming the next lagahoo upon passing. Anomalies can occur however.
Memorial Album.
He typically traveles via grave to enter Coin'Side and back, usually with his own personal grave he spawned from, but is capable of traveling back in time via falling through a cenotaph or empty plot of another's. The death year on the tome stone of the plot determines the year he traves back too. The same can not be done with his spawn grave. He does this to rig the present of any overly feral and dangerous jumbies from existing in the first place, disencouraging such behaviour from any others. His appearence also seems to change in order to fit the grave plot inhabitant's vision of the lagahoo folk character.
His birds can also inhabit a hostless corpse, but since they don't even bother to help him maintain cemeteries or gardens of rememberance like this Jouska dismisses this behaviour swiftly.
Black Penny.
A shape shifting tool made of the gold of the previous Lagahoos. [Shovel]-Main weapon of choice.[Daggers]-Makes concrete look like ice (hella sharp). [Heavy chains]-Restrains jumbies + always links back to home as so he's never lost.

NOTEABLE FEATURES: Tail is flat and matted, almost resembling a fanned bird’s tail. Three(3) pigeons often perched on his shoulders and on his head where they spread their wings to form a wide brimmed hat to shade Jouska's face. There's a mole/freckle in the sclera of his right eye, and his ears being pinned back is its natural position. It can ofcourse moove and be used for expression just as a canine's ears would

Attitude Towards
Strangers Prefers not to interact, especially wearing his “work” uniform. If Poin wants to introduce him to someone then it’ll be fine within reason.
ACQUAINTANCE Really just boils down to the carnival chars which are tolerable at best, for both parties.
friends Partners from both the living and deceased, Coin’Side and ‘iere, holds all close and dearly, borderline family.
family May not be the best parent, or partner, but is willing to sacrifice himself in a blink for their well-being and generations onward. D'ole dog could learn a couple of tricks too.
lover Expressing his affection isn’t the easiest thing for someone who’s entire life circles around to tending to the deceased. However he tries his best for Poin, to make sure she feels as tho she not wasting her life with him.
rivals Mainly consists of the other folklores dealing with the deceased of the folk. Will throw more than just hands if any of them cause the death of a folk person.
enemies Hostile towards rabid jumbies but very few direct enemies other than them amongst the living.
