Was typing up the La Diablesse folklore as a reference for the story till i realized Fran's folklore design desperetly needs an update :')

- Colours: Yellow and Magenta
- Birds: Loves all birds but mainly the tropical ones: hummingbirds, toucans, macaws etc
- Plants: Flowering plants, succulents, fruit trees, decorative plants. She has a whole garden/small plantation :)
- Fruits and sweets: Basically anything with sugar, treat her like a hummingbird, sugar water n all
- Dancing: To the point where she'll dance in the rain cause she knows no one will stoll through the forest at that time. Also tap dancing :D
- Music: 90's american jazz, R&B; basically anything that gives a nostalgic feel

- Strangers: Anxiety levels? High. Don't look her in the eyes please :)
- Horror: Scary movies n all that. Halloween isn't a thing where she's from so she's good
- Ppl Disrupting Her Garden: Her garden's near a tourist attraction so foreigners often pick fruits n flowers, but she's too nervous to approach them herself
- Ciarettes: She can't stand the smell
- Tricks: Wheather it's all fun and games or not, she doesn't appreciate people tricking her into something she doesn't intend
TRIVIA
- Burns only in extreme heat (500 degrees)
- Does just fine in heatwaves, without water, negligence, insect n pest attacks. Just like a frangipani. Smells like one too
- She dosn't know her birthday, just that she was born in 1966. Ever since the "La Diabless" became a part of folklore and a carnival character, she celebrates it during carnival dressed as said character, blending in with the crowd. Unbenonced to the locals she IS La Diablesse

- She smells like a rotting corpse the moment someone unintentionally sees her face, but as they get to befriend and know her she'll smell like frangipani flowers.
Story
Folklore: La Diablesse
La Diablesse (Lajables), the Devil Woman, is a character in Trinidadian folklore. Legend says she was born a human, but her deals with the devil in turn for eternal youth transformed her into a demon.
She has eyes like burning coals and a face resembling that of a corpse, but hides it under a beautiful wide-brimmed hat and a veil over her face. She is dressed exquisitely in a blouse with puffy sleeves and long, petticoated, skirts. To others, her poise, figure and dress make her seem beautiful. However, her long dress hides the fact that one leg ends in a cow hoof, where she walks with one foot on the road and her cow hoof on the grass at the roadside.
She turns up at village dances, where she is immediately disliked by the women present, but she utterly charms the men, asking one of them to take her home. He follows her, totally under her spell, and is led deep into the woods where she suddenly disappears. The poor lad, runs lost in the dark woods untill he falls into a ravine or river, or gets eaten by wild dogs and die.
"If you feel you may encounter a La Diablesse on your way home, take off all your clothes, turn them inside out and put them on again, and this will surely protect you from La Diablesse."
Fran's Perspective
Fran doesn't know her birthday, just that she was born in 1966. Ever since the La Diabless character became a part of carnival, she celebrates her birthday during carnival time dressed as said character, blending in with the crowd. Unbenonced to the locals she IS La Diablesse.

What a beatuiful day to be born
Fran looks up towards the sky w/ tears prettily rolling fown her face, a thin bedsheet of hummingbirds badazelling the sky like daytime jewelery. She knows something is wrong in coinside though she cant help but sit n cry joy on her self-claimed birthday.
