To put it bluntly, Moony's first impressions of other people are very shallow; either you are a have or a have-not. In other words, all people fall into the category of having money or not having money. Moony is more interested in those who look rich at first glance.
If you're able to look past her shallow desire of craving money, Moony actually makes an excellent friend because at her core, she is supportive and candid. She passionately stands up for her friends and puts her whole heart into whatever she does. However, even as Moony's friend, you should never expect her to buy you anything or give you money.

Moony admires how graceful, elegant, and soft cats can be. She secretly wishes that she is a cat, and she constantly tries to buy shampoo and conditioner that makes her fur softer.

Moony is fairly active on social media. She likes to take pictures of herself with friends, her environment, and her food. Her status updates are often her thoughts on what's going on in the world news.

Moony spent most of her early life on the streets and feigning for herself. Her logical reasoning was never really trained, but instead she has developed a keen sense of intuition. She's also forced to rely on her ability to bluff rather than direct fighting because of her weak physique.

Coin Fling Special
Iron metal pellets are materialized in the air and flung towards the target. The accuracy of this attack is low, and it's not strong enough to piece skin (it only leaves bruises). Since the iron is actually drawn from Moony's blood, if Moony uses this attack too many times she will become anemic and pass out.
Weak Magnetism Magic
In combination to her coin fling attack, Moony and magnetize her iron pellets and cause them to stick on metal surfaces.
Pounce Physical
Basically a really weak body slam.
Gnaw Physical
Tiny fangs are used to inflict a shallow bite on the opponent. Not very effective.
Canon History
Moony's main defining traits are having intense pecuniary interests and participating passionately in verbal debates. However, if you're interested about her backstory, some general information has been included in the spoiler tag below.
Moony actually grew up in the slums. Her childhood living circumstances are the single most important factor that influenced her physical health and personality. Her body's potential was severely stunted due to poor hygiene, poor quality food, and second hand smoke, but she doesn't get sick easily because her body is used to eating poor quality food (or quite literally, trash). Over the years, she has developed a stubborn and competitve personality because the only way that she could stay alive was if she kept fighting for herself.
Moony has a bad habit of shoplifting. She often stole what she needed when she was younger, so developed an unconscious urge to steal even when she doesn't need to. As an adult, she works hard to surpress this urge, but sometimes her paws still Do The ThingTM and she has to return the item that she stole (or sell it, depending on who is the store owner).
When Moony was younger, her bottom eyelashes were ridiculously longer than her top eyelashes. The other kids thought that this was ugly. As an adolescent, she tried to trim her bottom eyelashes and wore false eyelashes and eye makeup, but she eventually gives up on her eyelashes and lets them grow naturally.
Character Trivia
- Moony uses pet names to address people. This includes: sweetie, dear, and hun. These words are used interchangable without particular rhyme or reason -- Moony only developed this habit because the people around her didn't like to use their real name. If you ask nicely, Moony will do her best to call you by your real name rather than by her default pet names.
[Note: The term "sweetheart" is a pet name that is used affectionately. It is strictly reserved for children or for a significant other.]
- Moony is fond of pigeons because she relates to them the most.
- Her collar is made of leather and cheap plastic. It was the first accessory that she didn't steal - someone gave it to her.
- Her earring is made of brass.
- Moony strongly believes in the thought that you should be true to yourself.

Artist's Notes
Moony doesn't have a particular body physique, so she can be drawn with an average fox proportions and average size.
Her fur color can range from a dark grey to a purplish-grey. Moony doesn't have to be drawn with anything other than her collar and her earring, but I love it when she's drawn with coins/gems/money.
Other important design notes:
- Moony has a yellow cresent marking on her forehead. It's usually hidden by her hair, but it peaks out from underneath sometimes.
- Moony's bottom eyelashes are intended to be long! It's not merely a stylistic choice; it's part of her design.
- Her left ear is off-white and her right ear is grey.
- Her chest has the same heart-shaped marking as her face.
Design Trivia
- Moony's design was created by me and two friends back in middle school. My friend was also the one who named her (probably due to the cresent on Moony's forehead). No, Moony McMoonMoon is not related to the Moon Moon meme in any way.- Moony's face marking is reminiscent of a barn owl's heart-shaped face.
- Moony's original earring shape was a cresent, but I actually don't like to draw cresents so I changed it.
- Moony's bottom eyelashes weren't originally a thing. I don't know how Moony came to have bottom eyelashes.
Cremeudi
[ Best Friend ] Cremeudi and Moony live in different cities, but they managed to become friends online because they mutually liked each other's post consistently. Sometimes they set up meeting times to call each other just to chat. Eventually, they meet up in person later and travel occasionally to visit one another.
Poiple
[ Best Friend ] Moony and Poiple's relationship had a rocky start as they first met each other as roommates. However, their contrast personalities pushed them to try to understand each other, and now they are very close friends. Poiple is someone who is reliable to Moony, even though Poiple is a much more emotional than she is.
Cadenza
[ Friend/Acquaintance ] Cadenza's easy-going nature and knowledge of how to enjoy herself allows her to get along with Moony very well. Moony takes great pride in recommending different food and shopping places to Cadenza.
Sparkle Poof
[ Squad ] When they first met, Moony was originally skeptical of Sparkle Poof because Sparkle Poof's personality seemed too exaggerated to be not fake. After some time, Moony came to realize that Sparkle is genuine in everything she does and has come to accept who she is.
Ninja Kiwi
[ Acquaintance ] Moony sometimes tries to make small talk with Kiwi, but Kiwi rarely responds. Moony finds it difficult to engage Kiwi.
Coop
[ Acquaintance ] Moony has seen Coop around the neighborhood and while Coop still constantly acts aggrevated, they have exchanged a few hellos before. Moony has identified as "the angriest puppy in town" and subjects him to harmless pranks from time to time (Coop doesn't know who's responsible for these pranks).
Wyck
[ Squad? ] Moony is a bit wary of Wyck, mostly because he's large, has horns, and is pretty hard to read emotionally (not being able to see his eyes and him speaking softly means it's hard to read his emotions). These characteristics reminds Moony of some more dangerous people that she met during her childhood, but since Poiple seems to trust him, all Moony can do is keep an eye on him.
Botchader
[ Friend? ] On the one hand, Botchader intimidates Moony, but on the other hand, Moony can feel that Botchader relaxes around her. Moony has some complicated and mixed feelings about this relationship, but for the time being, she does her best to lock her fear away and banter back to Botchader. There are some cute moments where Moony teaches Botchader to enjoy "normal" things that he didn't grow up with.
Jinkins
[ Acquaintance ] Jinkins radiates a dangerous aura that Moony recognizes (it's similar to the aura of the dangerous people that Moony met in her childhood). She's tried to reason with Jinkins, but he doesn't seem to pay much attention to her words.
