Caterina C. [ Mother ]
Before Mama became bedridden, she tried to convince me to speedrun my cancer studies. I think if she had a choice, I would have been the only one doing her chemo, so no one else gotta. That being said, I don't think you could make me look at cancer growths more than I possibly have to, and I already gotta look at a lot of them. She was never as funny as Jojo, but it's because of her that I'm so capable and big brain now.
Nicoletta [ Employee ]
Nicoletta is the only one who Jojo lets see him cry, and sometimes me, of course! Jojo always has this funny disposition about him except when Nicoletta shows up. I like Nicoletta, she knows a lot about curing people's hearts. She sometimes asks me how I feel about Mama leaving everything up to me, but I tell her I don't really have thoughts. It made Jojo laugh!
I dunno why we call ourselves Eleos. I think "The Hospital" or "The Sanitisers" would sound way cooler, but I guess those sound more like music bands. I like being in charge! Everyone's really proud of me when I get things done. I think they think I don't know how to do any of this but Mama made sure I knew how to handle EVERY POSSIBLE SITUATION before she gave up her role. And ever since I became Priestess, I get to hang out with Jojo more!

When Mama told me Jojo's gang all do shady information brokering stuff, I didn't really picture Jojo just... sleeping with his hoodie zipped over his face...? Like, I get he's a slacker, and all, but uh... Outside his office? I don't really get to hang out there for long. Mama never let me, and Jojo says it's not anything fun or worth checking out. Maybe if Jojo falls asleep again, I can try to leave for a while?

Personality Description
Imagine the annoying older twin sibling who thinks they're better than you because they were born six minutes earlier. Now imagine realising they really ARE better than you and they genuinely know it. That's Theresa. Smug and all knowing, she's a problem child whom you can't lecture because she'll talk her way out of it. Um ackshually, it's the aorta that's the largest artery in the body. She knows how highly valued her position is and how important she is, and it does wonders to her little fourteen year old ego. All these adults answering to her sharp little mind, it's any kid's dream.

As a toxicologist and surgeon, Theresa is incredibly quick on her feet and thinks fast. Her thought processes are deft and rational, and she trusts in her hands and her head to carry out medical procedures with high skill and accuracy. Outside her responsibilites as High Priestess, she struggles with enjoying herself and acting her age, something Gyeol remedies. Her loud and boistrous self only came out recently, letting herself be a child and enjoy her life outside of the immense expectations placed upon her.

Growing up around medicine experts, Theresa is young and healthy with no chronic problems. Though she'll remind you that she has never gotten chicken pox, so she's still "at risk" or something. She did go through a treatment procedure at age seven because she got burned by acid, but she can't remember the pain of the experience and thinks it makes her look battle worn and cool.

Has tried alcohol only once. Did not like it. Smells and tastes too much like lignocaine and other anesthetics.
Anatomical Anomalies
Was burnt by acid at age seven. The acid covers her left cheek and ear, as well as her right cheek and a small part of her neck. Has recovered completely save for the burn scars left behind. The scars are bumpy and course, but her youthfulness has helped in healing the texture over the years. Was constantly reminded to apply a cream to lighten the scar, but she keeps forgetting, or truly does not care enough to do so.

History
Born to Pierre and Caterina Curandero, Theresa was instantly thrown into a world of medicine and surgery. From young, Caterina had her on an extremely strict studying regime, consuming and reading textbooks and case studies for over twelve hours a day. She would have to find out the definition of any foreign or unfamiliar long word, as Caterina would test her knowledge constantly, and verbally. Although she picked things up quickly, she was not a natural born genius, and it was only thanks to such vigorous studying and constant quizzing that she managed to be accredited at such a young age. Due to all of her time spent studying, and meeting her mother's daily goals, she did not make many friends, nor was she aware of the many toys and games that children play. When she did get to go out, it was either to the lab or to the surgical viewing room, where she had to take notes and convey entire processes verbally until her mother was content with what she has absorbed. She didn't speak much aside from narrating her answers, and many things was drilled into her as if they should be common knowledge.
Caterina's deteoriating health did not bother Theresa as much as she thought it would. Although she felt sad, Caterina needing more time away for chemotherapy (and then being completely bedridden) meant that Theresa got to experience a lot of first things. Things that, admittedly, brought her a lot of joy. Now under Gyeol's care, the stark contrast in parenting was exciting and enjoyable, with Gyeol being far more lax and lenient with her. She followed him around for days, waiting for him to test her or ask what she's observed or noted down, and when she finally spoke up to ask, he burst out laughing. He uses her rational dedication against her often, and she grew irritated and witty, bantering with him and snapping back at him with an eyeroll. This behaviour seemed to make Gyeol incredibly happy, creating his own little menace, and with his cheshire grin and taunting tone, she was encouraged to be a lot more outspoken and childish. She's completely different now from who she was just a year ago, but she wouldn't have it any other way. (Sorry Mom)
