Aspen comes off as timid, and easily frightened. It's not as though she's an extremely emotional person, but more-so she's prone to getting startled -- as well as feeling paranoid and jumpy within her environment. This leads her to constantly be relegated to documentation and computer-related work when it comes to the #1021 Project; it's better for everyone involved, really. At the least, she has an affinity for organization and paperwork -- allowing her to complete her tasks very quickly.
She doesn't enjoy talking to the people that surround her, and actively avoids social interaction unless it's to report something to Dr. Laurier or help relay crucial information to her co-workers. It's any wonder how she even got into Team Xen to begin with... or how she hasn't completely cracked from all of the pressure of a fast-paced work environment.

- Her Pokemon team consists of Furret, Minccino, and Wooloo. None of them are ever used for battle, as she doesn't like to participate in those.
- Furret is her ace.
- She enjoys doing "old people things" in her free-time, such as crochet and various other kinds of arts and crafts; not to mention word puzzles.
- Is an active Pinterest user. She likes getting creative inspiration.
- Drinks too much coffee on a daily basis, and rarely gets sleep because of it. Additionally, she prefers it sweetened.
- Much like Oliver, she needs her glasses to function. Her eye-sight is still significantly better than his, however.
- She gets cold easily (yes, even in warmer weather) -- and prefers to wear thicker-layered clothing and sweaters.
- Constantly looks worried/fearful. She almost never smiles. It's a bit concerning, actually.
All things considered, she's terrified of Dr. Laurier -- but does hold a great amount of respect for him from a scientist standpoint. Unfortunately, this respect isn't enough for her to dispel the consistent worries of getting booted off the project by him due to a lack of usefulness. She could be overthinking it, but it doesn't seem like he can tolerate her. Or anyone else for the most part, but still; she wishes that it was easier to read his emotions.
She views him as extremely entitled, and is appalled that he'd leave behind what seemed like such a fortunate life for Team Xen of all organizations. It may not show on the surface, but everything he says and does irritates her; why does Oliver try to act all high and mighty, anyways? She's been here for far longer than he has. If only she had the guts to actually snap at him, but she knows that she'll never be able to reach that point even if she tries. What a bother.
She... has no idea what to think of them, actually. They're so confusing; and with every time they approach her, she's always at a loss on what to do. Should she run off? Should she try to say something to them? She thinks that she'll never figure it out -- but at least they've never tried to poke fun at her or egg her on for a reaction like some of her other peers have. She's quite appreciative of that. It'd be nice if she could eventually get the guts to say something more than just a brief, nervous greeting.
