Hair: Auburn/reddish brown, cut into the flattest flat top humanly possible (in his early 30s he grows long sideburns & a mustache)

Eyes: Hazel, wide, and always looking very focused and intense

Build: Very lean, pretty much no extra "fat" on him whatsoever, just thin with defined muscles

Scars/Body Modifications/Other distinguishing features: Pointy elf-like ears that stick out, and light freckles on his face, shoulders, and arms

Clothing: Out of his hockey gear his style is quite "preppy": he wears nice sweaters, often with a collared dress shirt underneath and a tie/bowtie, paired with slacks. Sometimes wears just a button-up shirt (with short sleeves when the weather is hot.) or his school's letterman jacket.

Disposition: Does this guy EVER relax? It sure doesn't seem like it. He's always intense, serious, and seemingly on edge about something at almost all times, as if he just can't let his guard down. He has a very short fuse and is easily provoked into fighting (though he's often the one to start the fights himself) and acts as if he needs to prove himself to everyone. When someone gets under his skin (whether in a bad or good way) he simply cannot leave it alone and will pester them until he gets a reaction from them. He also really values his alone time (since it's pretty much the only time he can unwind a little) and has a habit of locking his bedroom door and hanging out in there for awhile in silence, often with all the lights out.

Mannerisms: As expected, his anxiousness constantly shows through, as he's always fidgeting in some way, tapping his foot while sitting, gritting his teeth, shifting his eyes, etc. He doesn't often smile or laugh, and when he does it's more of a nervous cackle. He is also very easily embarrassed, which makes his face turn bright red! And also whenever he's embarrassed (or nervous, or otherwise feeling highly emotional) he tends to stutter and trip on his words. (He stutters a lot as it is, though when he gets upset it can sometimes be almost intelligible.) (As an adult he does eventually gain more confidence in himself and also isn't quite so stressed out all the time as he was as a teen, but unfortunately his severe anxiety is just something that follows him throughout his life. :/)

Voice: His voice is tough to describe, mostly because there's nothing that really stands out about it, other than his tendency to stutter/sputter when he's really upset, which can also cause his voice to crack sometimes. It's not that deep, (nor is it high)...the only other notable thing is he has a slight Philly accent, which is only noticeable in the way he pronounces certain words (i.e. he'll say "wooder" instead of "water." XD)

Kowalski's current lot in life is pretty much playing the lackey to the big bad villain Jean-Luc, and ends up taking quite a bit of abuse from him, especially whenever they lose. (He is basically a bully that's always getting bullied himself.) And having lost both his older brothers in WWII he feels as though his family expects a lot from him, being the only child they have left and born late in their lives (long after they thought they were done having children), so he is constantly trying to please everyone in all aspects of life. As stressful as it all is he absolutely loves playing hockey and is very good at it! Things do change however, and a few years after high school he begins to realize his other ambitions and interests are becoming much more important to him than the game, and he soon joins the Air Force, where he eventually finds himself in the cockpit of a B52!
