CHARACTER INFO

A Slugcat designed and made by Hint of Ichor meant to be a powerhouse, a tool for Iterators for places they could not access. Beast physically came out as an adult and was trained and taught by Hint amongst their other Slugcats, even if they feared her enormous size and intimidating appearance. While she was based on non-native Monster Kelp [native Monster Kelp taking more after pine trees], her thick, red fur still screams ‘dangerous’. She lives around Hint's can, waiting to fulfill her role in the Random God’s plans as her size and standing out appearance make her a less than ideal messenger. As an individual, Beast is calm, collected and a gentle giant, and dreams of having a family of her own.

GAMEPLAY

Gameplay: Carnivore. Requires 7 food pips to hibernate, can store 3 more. Able to carry two spears at once, and deals increased spear damage. She has the same speed as Gourmand, and moves slower through pipes. She sinks in bodies of water.
Gameplay: Intimidation. Her sheer size, menacing appearance, and red coloring scare away a lot of creatures. Scavengers are terrified of her, weaker Lizards think twice before going after her.
Ability: Thick skin. After successfully hibernating, Beast has a chance of tanking a hit – whether a lizard bite, or a spear. Bombs and other highly dangerous sources still insta-kill.
Ability: Maul. Just like Artificer, when up-close Beast can deal damage to enemies with just her claws and teeth.
Ability: Improv night vision. In total dark areas she can slightly see outlines of the terrain. It’s not much and still would rather have a source of light, but it’s better than nothing.
Ability: Destruction. With her powerful front claws, Beast can destroy the environment in a select few areas marked with X, unlocking shortcuts for all Slugcats and eventually unlocking The Depths.
