"Isn't Aaron just the coolest? Like, I've been watching him just get smarter and smarter ever since he was in university and now he's basically the leader of the Investigation Division! Oh, I'm so lucky to be best friends with him."
---
Even though the two of them are close friends -- and Chanto's seen Aaron both at his best and at his worst -- there's still a little part of Chanto that still looks up to Aaron like an older brother. Chanto loves listening to Aaron talk, solve problems, tell stories, and genuinely be himself. She's always seeking him out every time there's a new restaurant she wants to try or a new store that she thinks Aaron would love to go to. While she might act annoyed at the fact that Aaron treats her like she's a little kid, in her heart, she's glad that Aaron's just as fond of her as she is of him.
"Chanto's always such a pleasure to be around. She just radiates happiness everywhere she goes. You'll never meet somebody as kind or hardworking as her, especially not one so willing to listen to you whenever you need a shoulder to lean on."
---
Aaron loves being in Chanto's presence. The two of them have been close friends ever since they were in college, when Aaron would tutor Chanto and help her with her homework -- so that she could stop relying so heavily on Duncan's notes, of course. Aaron treats Chanto like a younger sister, often ruffling her hair (and messing up her carefully-made hairstyle) or teasing her, but never with any real malice in his words. After all, if he goes /too/ hard on her, he knows that Chanto can bully him right back -- with information about Aaron's love life that Aaron made Chanto swear never to tell anybody else.
"This motherfucker. Someone needs to take the stick out of his ass because wow, I've been trying since we've met and he's still just as annoying as ever! Heheh, I just find it fun to mess with him. He tries soooo hard to be soooo serious, but it's so easy to annoy him!"
---
Chanto's made it her personal mission to annoy Duncan as much as possible whenever the two of them are in the same room. While she doesn't hate Duncan, she definitely thinks that he's a little too stuck-up for his own good -- which is what she's here to help with! The two of them argue like they're siblings, Chanto always calling him names and trying to get a rise out of Duncan. At the same time, however, she knows that if she really needs someone to lean on, Duncan will be there for her -- however reluctant that support might be. Whenever she really needs help or advice, Duncan's there for her to turn towards.
"Ever since we first met, she's always been such a pest. She wasn't just copying my notes and my homework when we were in school -- she would do it without asking me, just to annoy me! Have you ever met anybody so rude?"
---
Chanto and Duncan have been bickering ever since the two of them were in college together. Duncan, being the better student between the two of them, would often make fun of Chanto for how heavily she relied on his notes, only to get into fights with her: he two of them would punch each other and pull at each other's clothes and hair, like they were siblings. Even though they're in a work setting, now, this behavior hasn't gotten better -- it's just been confined behind closed doors. Deep down, Duncan appreciates Chanto's presence and the fact that Chanto's stayed, despite all their arguments. He just can't say it out loud.
"Kay's so funny and, like, half the time I don't even know if they're trying to be? It's just the way they talk, I mean, both in real life and on Twitter... It's like a weird talent? I can get past how rude they are because I can't stop laughing at what they're saying!"
---
Even though Chanto can be intimidated, sometimes, by how aggressive Kay can be, most of the time she can't help herself from giggling or laughing along at the jokes and comments that Kay's always making. She doesn't like to say it, but Kay sometimes inspires her to hate and get a little more angry at things than she usually does. They're right -- why /should/ she be just accepting what other people tell her all the time?! (Of course, these temporary feelings of faux-anger don't last for long, to Kay's disappointment. Chanto just isn't the type of person to hold grudges.)
"Chanto's one of the only people that I trust to actually look through my Twitter and -- get this -- agree with me! Haha, she can be so funny when she tries to be -- and by that, I mean when she lets herself be a bit more of a hater. My bad."
---
It's difficult for Kay to let anybody in... to their private Twitter account, but they've made an exception for Chanto. For all that Kay loves arguing, after all, they need at least one yes-man to keep liking their Tweets. Kay treats Chanto like a younger student that they have to mentor, encouraging her to actually stand up for herself and talk back to people -- half because they genuinely care about Chanto's well-being, half because they think that it's incredibly funny to watch Chanto try to be sarcastic and rude the way that Kay naturally is. They love making Chanto laugh -- especially if it's to Duncan's detriment, of course.
"He gives me the best advice... and, um, that's it! I think he's a bit shy? He just doesn't talk much about himself, but I'm glad to know him anyway. I definitely think they're the most reliable person on the team -- don't tell anyone!"
---
Chanto's not sure if Clarence is shy, reluctant to talk, secretive -- or a mix of all three, if she's being honest. It's rare for her to meet somebody who's willing to just let her talk for as long as she needs to or wants to, without interrupting. It's easy for Chanto to just let herself go on and on with Clarence, talking to him about whatever comes to mind. She's reassured by the fact that Clarence always nods along, obviously listening from the few comments that he does offer, but Chanto wishes that Clarence would offer more insight of his own -- especially given how much she knows that he /can/ talk when he wants to.
"She's excitable, isn't she? That can be fun sometimes. I don't mind chatting with her, but I'm worried that it can come off as a bit... awkward, no? I'm happy to answer whatever questions she has for me, regardless."
---
While Chanto might have a bit more energy than Clarence is used to experiencing for themselves, they don't mind being around her, most of the time. He enjoys listening to all of Chanto's gossip and offering her advice on whatever she needs help with -- finding it funny that Chanto, the person usually offering other people relationship advice, has so much trouble with her own love life. Clarence worries, privately, that they can come off as too aloof, knowing how friendly Chanto tends to be. No matter how they might act, they genuinely do want Chanto to see them as a friend.
