Jackson's Links
Jackson's little sister means the world to him. He may not say it all the time, but he's just so proud of the person she grew up to be.
While he never imagined himself dating someone around his sister's age, he can't deny that Cereza is an exceptional gal. She doesn't tend to be overly sweet, & she tells it like it is. He likes not having to guess what she's thinking. He never thought a beauty like her would be interested in a plane jane like him.
Cereza appreciates how quiet Jackson is - it allows her to talk as much as she wants. And she likes talking a lot. They're a bit different, and he's older, but this doesn't bother Cereza. She just likes him.
She pays the bills, & she's pretty alright in his opinion
Jackson works hard, doesn't back sass, & gets the job done every time. Briandy wishes she had ten of him at the pub. A little quiet, but then again, she can't complain. It adds to that intimidation factor he's been building as her bouncer.
Loxley kind of seems like a limp noodle despite the toned muscle he has to Jackson, but at the same time, he can't complain with how Lox does his job. He cleans quick, makes strong, tasty drinks fast, & can handle his own as far as rude customers go.
Jackson is kind of intimidating, so Lox is glad they're on the same side. Though it really is a comfort to know that if he freaks Lox out, even though he knows what a nice guy he is, that shitty customers wouldn't dare mess with him.
Briandy's pushy sister may be a little annoying at times, but she always treats him well & tells Jackson he's working too hard. Lets him eat more on the job, & lets him have a couple drinks at the end of the night.
God, the bouncer at the pub is too hot. Jackson always gets Roxxy in a tizzy, though he doesn't seem to notice. But at least he doesn't flat out dis her. He is polite to a fault. Oh well.
Zaraff is a smart kid. He thinks good on his feet, & keeps his wits about him. While he knows he has to keep an eye on the kid in case someone actually thinks he's a snack, Jackson has also had the privilege to see Zaraff use his size changing ability to scare potential threats away wisely.
Jackson is a titch intimidating, but Zaraff also knows he's dependable. He's quiet, but gives him all the back up he needs. Jack's a great superior to be honest, & doesn't feel like he's on a tricycle or has training wheels so to speak on the job. Zaraff feels like he's part of the team, which is nice after his last job.
Normally he doesn't tease his brother, but every once in awhile, they exchange silent glances. It doesn't help that usually Wave & Tide are on his arms while the look is being exchanged. He's surprised they can share, but he also won't judge.... Much. He doesn't judge them, just Urdnot.
This guy may be smiling on the outside, but it doesn't seem to translate inside. After watching this guy work hard & be as friendly as he could be, Jackson didn't think it was right to just leave him all alone.
Recently, Jackson has extended the friendship baton in various, small ways. Like walking Jolt to his car so that no one tries to take a bite out of him, or warning him when Bri & Rox decide to make their personal matters a work matter. The guy doesn't say much, but he & Jacks have started hanging out a bit outside of work. He even was nice enough to introduce his adorable, yet sassy girlfriend to him. Jolt was starting to feel too isolated as it was, so this has been nice for him.
