Summary

When the God of Otherworlds created the Overworld and Underworld for Druehiri's planet, Witches were created as an accidental byproduct. They live underground of Druehiri, close to the boundary of the Underworld. When these witches first came into existence, their first instinct was to move up to the surface, not knowing of their powers. They lived amongst humans for a while, until the witches discovered their capabilities with magic. Humans, frightened by this, pushed witches out of their spaces. With this, a war between witches and human began, with the end result being the witches surrendering and going back to the underground. They cultivated an actual settlement using the all the natural resources at their disposal and their magic. Those who protected the newly created Witches Depths would be called lords. Rugie, Anise, and Lemleth were among the first of these lords, as they protected the others during the war.

Eventually, the disturbance would agitate the spririts from the Underworld and cause possession incidents. The lords, learning that their kind is easily posessible, go on a journey to find a pure energy preventing spirits from entering from above. They find a field of flowers, filled with pure light; however, the field bounds those without an affinity for nature to a deathly curse. The mere touch or smell of just the pollen could bound the clueless to an untimely death. Nature Lord Lemleth took the flower with no effect on her wellbeing (guess why. tip it's in her title,) but picking it made the rest of the flowers wilt. Knowing this, Lemleth sacrificed herself to keep the flower field alive. The rest of the lords would eventually die from the curse, excluding Anise who was covered head to toe in armor.

A thousand years later, Mahogany and Saoirse would go on the journey to obtain another flower to replace the old, wilting one due to the possessed Lidelle's destruction. Saoirse sacrificed herself, knowing she was not affiliated with nature (or any powers for that matter,) and brought the flower back to the Witches Depths, dying in the process. While Lidelle was defeated and sent back to the Underworld, the spirit possessing her and Lidelle's spirit did not separate separately. Because of this, inevitable destruction would only be delayed.

Two thousand years later, the flower would wilt and spirits would come in full force, even stronger than before due to Lidelle growing stronger. Thus, Cadmium, a witch lacking powers outside of healing small plants (NO SHE CANNOT HEAL THE FLOWER SHE WOULD DIE THATS THE POINT) and her childhood friend Elbine, whom excels at psychokinesis, go on a journey with their familiars and make allies along the way, and perhaps reconciliating with humans in the process...
