Dior Vernon is a straight-laced and pessimistic woman who has survived the past few years in a slowly growing group. She strives to live to see a cure for those infected. As such, she refuses to give up and won't let the rag-tag crew she's assembled either. The presence of a peaceful zombie has convinced her that anything is possible, though she refuses to believe in what she hasn't personally observed.

The crew originally started out as just her and her older brother. The next addition, Zoë, was an eccentric addition who insisted she knew enough about the zombies to be of use. Buoy was the result of listening and letting Zoë join. Despite the unusual group she's assembled, Dior finds herself most suspicious of newcomer Casey.

• Her glasses cause her headaches if she wears them for extended periods of time as they're not her proper prescription. She lets them dangle from her neck when she can.
• Very cleanly and does whatever she can to maintain her hygiene. Just because it's the apocalypse doesn't mean she should let herself succumb to unsanitary practices!
• Each of the main characters in Zombolini: Apocalypse NOW! has one of five team roles assigned to them. How much the role fits them varies.
  • Dior's role is "The Leader" for the obvious reason of leading the crew. She has a lot of people skills due to her past, and with her brother's help, she can formulate a plan for the most common situations the crew runs into.
