Anne Piper's Links
Anne thinks that Lucy is rude and disrespectful, but is willing to write it off as them butting heads due to their age difference. She subconsciously starts to take a parental role for Lucy, which only frustrates Lucy further. They never quite see eye to eye, but they do grow a mutual respect for one another
Lucy is very annoyed by Anne at first; she thinks she's very judgmental- borderline intolerable. Lucy is already very irritated and angsty, so a new, stupid addition to her group is the perfect outlet for her anger. As frustrated as she is, just like with her dad, she knows that Anne doesn't have bad intentions
Johnny is probably the person Anne got off on the worst foot with, directly insulting him and pissing him off the most right off the bat. She comes to appreciate him and his... unique perspective, but it takes a while. She finds him to be very hard to figure out. Anne honestly doesn't understand how the others deal with him, and knows that he holds the same sentiment for her
Johnny, if you asked him, would not stop a horde of zombies from tearing Anne limb from limb, not even for the sake of David. He doesn't care about her. He swears he doesn't care about her. David insists that he does, and even if it may end up being somewhat true, he's not going to admit it! Okay, fine, maaaaaybe he wouldn't let her die on his watch, but it really depends on the day...
Anne doesn't have many thoughts about Aziz, either, so they get along fine in the sense that they don't have any bad blood. She also doesn't get hurt very often, so she isn't in need of his help often. She thought him being nonverbal was odd at first, but she got used to it and finds that she actually enjoys the silence
Aziz is mostly neutral toward Anne, he doesn't feel one way or another about her. She's just there and he has to take care of her sometimes. He views her as just another patient, essentially. Not in a bad way, she's just not anywhere on his radar unless she's hurt or saying something hurtful
Anne has grown up with... somewhat ableist views. She's definitely never actually interacted with a person with autism before joining the bunker, so she thinks he's more than a little strange. These prejudices and views are corrected over time, but her initial impression of Cory is skewed because of them, so they don't get off on the right foot. Not that Anne tries to be a bitch, she's just misinformed
Cory doesn't like Anne all that much, but not as much as Johnny dislikes her. He's probably at least partially influenced by Johnny's feelings about her, but ultimately thinks that Anne is- for lack of a better descriptor- a bitch. He'll still try to be kind to her, though, since he has to live with her. That doesn't mean he won't talk shit about her behind her back if she does or says something he deems out of line, though
She cautious and judgmental of his friends at first, but is eager to have a safe place to stay. David, however, seems very normal and nice, to her. Anne instantly sees him as someone she can trust and he helps her to be more open to people that she can't really relate to on the surface level.
David found Anne as a survivor and brought her in; he gives her the most pity out of anyone there and is very patient with her, maybe to a fault. He's the only person (aside from Aziz) who won't call her out when she says something questionable. He has some romantic feelings for her, but it's not really acted on much
