Celeste was my first tabletop rpg character during a pathfinder campaign.

Celeste has long curly brown hair with a gray streak in it, from stress. Her eyes are brown and her skin is a kind of sepia tone. I didn't realize her initial outfit looked like Carmen Sandiego until literal years passed. In the later half of her life when she retired from adventuring, she wears loose pants and shirts that are usually cuffed at the sleeves. Long hair reminds her too much of her adventuring days/trauma, so Celeste keeps her hair short, never going passed her shoulders. She also likes tying it up in a red hair scarf.

I write Celeste as a hardass but she's actually very loving and kind, albeit reserved and awkward. She is motivated by love, for her wife, her family, etc. Celeste is generally suspicious of people she doesn't know, keeping herself closed off from potential traumas or hardships. However, she still tries to help in ways she can. Celeste is a paradoxical entity with opposites existing in contrast or harmony with one another.

Arc One

Celeste was born in a small farm town to her elven Father and human Mother. Despite the town being near an elven settlement, half elves were a rarity. And so, Celeste was often looked at as an oddity, along with her foreign Mother. Celeste grew up performing odd jobs for the townspeople, often found tending to livestock or running general stores when the owners were away. While doing these odd jobes, Celeste met a girl named Naomi Ruadha, 3rd youngest daughter to one of the town's many farmers. Celeste and Naomi had a great affinity for one another, and eventually married. When Celeste's Father returned from one of his many business ventures, Celeste joined him in order to learn the merchant's trade. When she returned to her village, she found it burned to the ground, most of the townspeople dead and her wife missing.

Upon further investigation of the town, she found a cellar of a few surviving townspeople and her Mother. Her Mother was moderately injured, but otherwise stable. The townspeople and her Mother told Celeste that a rogue cult had attacked the village and kidnapped many people, including Naomi. Her Mother, using the magic she learned from her time at the temple of Nethys, was able to defend the cellar and the people inside.

Celeste's Father was heartbroken for his child, but Celeste was determined to find her wife. They stayed in town for a few nights to help the stragglers and keep an eye on Celeste's Mother. When she was fully healed, they took to the road and drove Celeste to a Nethysian temple. There, Celeste learned to hone her magic and, after a few years of rigorous study, set off in order to find Naomi.

Arc Two

While adventuring with her party, Celeste met a demon queen. She asked the demon queen if she could tell her the location of her wife in exchange for a picture of her, the only one in her possession. The demon queen agreed, and told Celeste of her location, in Skinsaw Mountain. Celeste and the party journeyed to Skinsaw Mountain and rescued Naomi from the possession of the Skinsaw Cult. After rescuing her wife, Celeste truly became an Inquisitor and set off to purge the land of the Skinsaw Cult to avenge her town.

Arc Three

Celeste had earned her a reputation as a destroyer of the Skinsaw Cult and retired from her Inquisition with her wife. They made their home out of the side of a mountain. Using their shared magical abilities, they both Mothered 3 children. They are currently living out their days in domestic bliss, Naomi often found gardening outside their home with her familiar slithering nearby and Celeste still working away at magic.

Notes

• Celeste's Father lives with them in the mountain. Her Mother had an unnatural lifespan due to magic and passed peacefully in the mountain surrounded by family. Her picture is kept on the mantle with pictures of Naomi's parents and her grandchildren.
• Celeste and Naomi's children are named Sacha, Bruno, and Madeline (Oldest to youngest).
• Naomi, Sacha, and Bruno worship Sarenrae while Celeste and Madeline worship Nethys.
• Celeste is a hexenhammer possession Inquisitior.
