Liza spends more time out in the woods looking for run down abandoned houses or buildings than she does at her own house, not that anything is wrong with it, she just feels most herself exploring societal carcasses so to speak. She has a good relationship with her parents, who adopted her at  a young age, but is a very independent teen. Shes known for slinking off and doing her own thing if she feels like shes lost interest in a get together, or just because something caught her attention, but despite this the adults in her life do not consider her a problem child. Shes sometimes considered a model student or model teenager, she has an extremely strict moral code which she abides by to an almost unhealthy degree. 

Shes compassionate and patient but what she thinks is right and wrong is very clearly defined for her, and she can get frustrated with her peers if they appear to be wishy washy on a topic shes strongly opinionated about. Her convictions dont always align with the law though but shes clever enough to have avoided trouble thus far. Shes a good friend despite her eccentricities and rigidity, her abrasive  monotonous exterior belies the fact she cares deeply about the people around her. She is a loyal friend (though picky on who she associates with) and shows a level of maturity in handling interpersonal issues that is atypical for her age (Usually.) Liza tends to let people come to her if they need help even if she notices problems but is not afraid of confrontation and can be rather blunt. She wont outright ignore things she feels are going to cause lasting problems though.

Relationships:
Eliot- One of Liza's closest friends, shes known him since kindergarten but they got especially close during 5th grade when they both realized they differed from their peers in considerable ways. They are the most relaxed around one another, both having a good understanding of the others boundaries and also the comfort to be able to speak their minds freely about whats going on in their lives. They spend a lot of time at one anothers homes. Liza worries about Eliot as she knows how much he pushes himself to be Liked but also understands why hes like that and figures she can provide him with a space where he can just drop pretenses. He does the same for her in a way, hes someone who isnt afraid to challenge her viewpoints or mindsets and helps assure she doesnt become Too stuck in her ways which she actually really values. They share music taste too

Klaus- Her other close friend who shes known since 1st grade, met only a little bit after Eliot. She is  protective of him as well of Eliot but Klaus often cant maneuver out of situations, leaving him open to issues with their peers. When he was removed from their family home when they were all 8, her family along with eliots housed him and continue to do so in present time. Unlike Eliot who considers Klaus a best friend, Liza sees him a bit like a younger sibling even if theyre the same age. She feels a weird sense of pride when he manages to be assertive though he struggles to do it for himself, something she is secretly frustrated with but doesnt express that to him. She holds back a lot of her feelings and thoughts with him and can tell he does the same but she loves him a lot and likes spending time with him, when hes comfortable they mesh incredibly well  especially in terms of humor and favorite places to go. She knows about the ghost but hasnt told Klaus she does, she figures it would be better for him to  bring it up if he ever wants to

Ashley+Reese- She gets along relatively well with Reese, theyre casual friends, they sometimes go off  on their own while the others do things and she finds them comfortable enough to talk with even if theyre a little abstract and this conflicts with her very literal nature, nothing huge of an issue, she gets  disappointed when they dont come to get togethers. Ashley she has a mixed relationship with. She can tell they kind of dont like her but is too scared to say anything to her directly, which is the type of person she doesnt respect at all. She also has noticed they have something going on with Eliot and that puts her on edge. She tries to not disclude them from the group but Ashley makes it hard when they get snippy or try to control the situation, she doesnt like how they talk to Klaus either. But at the same time she doesnt think theyre a bad person and likes them a lot better when they have a rare silly moment instead of constantly acting like everyones mom.

Jon+Sawyer- Liza is fascinated but also frustrated by Jon, who isnt amoral but thinks that  the grey area is the most important part of engaging with the world, which is something she cannot compute but wants to understand. She tends to try to get them to talk about their viewpoints in an almost  antagonistic way but not quite, theyre still definitely friends. Debating with them is almost like enrichment to her. Sawyer joins in on it too because theyre like the groups baby philosophy major crossed with that theater kid flair so they like getting a little dramatic with it while Jon and Liza are more practical application and implication. Overall Liza likes these two and tends to gravitate to hanging out with them if Eliot and Klaus arent around.


Funfacts:
-she constantly smells like smoke, faintly but there, but she is an adamant anti-drug kid and can get a little self righteous about it
-shes also got a low body temp, and always feels a bit cold
-she likes to frequent thrift shops and get various tourist shirts as a hobby
-not adverse to violence whatsoever. she collects knives and has used them to threaten people, shes not proud of it though
-her name is short for Elizabeth but literally no one calls her that not even her parents.
-has the best grades of the group
-she speaks in an almost monotone and isnt very expressive, but is VERY emotional
-her friends sometimes joke shes like the group cryptid. theyre a little closer to the truth than they know
-liza, eliot, and klaus are some of my oldest ocs i still use :) (17 years aprox)
