Grimhooks belong to the magic Power Class. A grimhook is able to tear through space and time with nothing but the hooks on its arms. The size of the grimhook also determines how big one can make its portal. As for range, a grimhook has to physically and clearly see a spot for them to open a portal, so using the portals in combat is a bit trick and requires harsh focus on any incoming attacks. Grimhooks have developed glowing eyes as a way to help with this problem in dark areas. Another interesting power is their tail. It always stands up at the end like a scythe, and is used to take down the what would be intangible specter class emotibeasts, making grimhooks their natural enemy on Cerebral Island. 

Appearance

Grimhooks are very ghastly white with eerie yellow eyes. Their bodies contain a special jewel that contains their very soul and essence, if it were to break, the grimhook would die. All grimhooks as you'd expect have hooks for hands but said hooks come in different shapes. Some are average, short, or even long. It depends on a number of factors too erratic to properly record data of. There are many theories as to why these variants occur but none have been proven yet.

Other

Grimhooks share a close resemblence to the Grim Reaper and mimic the culture of the Gothic period of Europe. Most of them serve as hunters hired to kill and exorcise ghostly emotibeasts, because of this, their race is quite wealthy. Their Social Class is humanoid. When grimhook hatch from their eggs, the leftover shells get mixed with chemicals and crystalize into a hard gem-like core that houses their vital organs. It is their weakspot, but is guarded by their ribs. Some grimhooks get a disease known as Noull Prediction. It can be described as a magic disease. Noull Prediction slowly warps the grimhook's body into how they will eventually die. If a grimhook dies via stab wound, a wound will slowly develop through the years.

Story

Grimhooks are said to be the cursed remains of a fallen race, or at least started that way.  After an evolutionary split, the grimhooks found themselves able to travel through one point of their world and then back at a different spot in an instant. This world they dwelled in was known as the Noull. It is a barren landscape where only souls can thrive. The Noull is a dimension bordering on the line with Personalia's. With the power of Nullana, a grimhook guardian, the grimhooks transported themselves to our dimension. Whenever they used their power they would be able to make a shortcut through the two dimensions in a way. The inside of their portals is a bit of the Noull dimension, so all they are merely doing is making a shortcut through Personalia that runs through their old home. This power led to them becoming experts in hunting and surprise. They grew to become one of the most mysterious and dangerous races on their island.

● Grimhooks quite enjoy the finer things in life, like tea, literature, and even plays.

● An adult grimhook can reach a towering eight feet tall making them the best at creating portals of great size.

● Most grimhooks wear long sleeved clothing and long pants, as well as hoods. This is so they blend into other villages for stealthy hunts.

● No grimhook0 can blink since they lack eyelids.
