DESCRIPTION

Right from her birth Styx was a bit of an adventurous rebel who would often wander off on her own while bringing her sister Bonesy along. At the young age of 10 she and her sister ended up wandering off into Northern Divide territory. This land was home to all sorts of tough and dangerous creatures that cemented itself as a rite of passage that young emotibeasts would dare each other to enter. This was the case of Bonesy who was dared to go into the divide and bring back proof that she was in there. To support her sister Styx tagged along and tried to help her find something amazing to bring back to village to amaze all the other kids, however she didn't expect the events that would follow. Styx and Bonesy unknowingly ended up wandering into the nest of a Serwhip, the apex predator of Cerebral Island. The beast did not hesitate to chase and bite at the sisters as it cornered them deeper into the cave. Bonesy ended up so terrified she couldn't move, but Styx was stubborn enough to face fear head on and tried to ward off the serwhip with her fire magic. This attempt was fruitless, and ended up costing Styx her right arm. Thankfully before any more damage could be done, the sisters were rescused by their father Rage. Rage made quick work of the beast and wasted no time cauterizing Styx's arm wound shut. While relieved his daughters were ok, Rage was equally ashamed and angry all at the same time. He felt furious that they would wander off like this, while at the same time feeling like a worthless fool for letting it happen. Styx tried to argue that she just was trying to be like him which shocked Rage. He told her that she shouldn't try to be like him, be something else. Rage is not the best at saying what he actually means, while Styx can take things in an unintentional way. For Styx she took this as an insult as if being a heroic guy like Rage was just not even worth trying to achieve like it was a goal out of her reac. In truth Rage simply wanted Styx to have a more peaceful life than he had. Everything he did in his journeys was for the peace and justice for emotibeasts all around, and such a task didn't come without a toll. Regardless this set the mindset in Styx and caused her to develop a bit of a rivalry towards her father. Now she had a goal to become not just a hero, but a hero BETTER than Rage. As years passed her attitude started to really become a bit of a punk, albeit with a heart of gold buried underneath the rough exterior. She embarked on a quest with her sister Bonesy and started to formulate her own guild team known as the "Punks" with the goal of becoming legends to all emotibeasts around Personalia. Just like with Rage's journey this quest would end up taking a toll on Styx she would never be prepared for.

Trivia

  • Her prosthetic arm was crafted by Skrit, one of Rage's allies. It was based off of Bonesy's arm per Styx's request "so that they match." Even though Bonesy has grimhook hands while Styx was born with sekevil hands. The arm itself can launch the hook like a tether to latch onto things like a fishing hook and by clenching the muscles in her arm stub she can reel it back in.
  • To maintain her prosthetic arm she learned how to smith and maintain the hook blade from her mother Thana. It's become a bit of a relaxing activity for her.
  • Her tough demeanor vanishes around women.
  • Styx made a special backpack designed just to carry Eon around for her adventures.
