DESCRIPTION
The Surfactant is a slippery Slugcat, who creates a special soap-like substance. Her body is incredibly slippery, and cannot be grabbed by lizards, vultures, and centipedes, along with things such as Pipe Plants and Monster Kelp. However, if she is snapped at, a bite can still be lethal. She will also occasionally slip due to how slippery the bottom of her feet are, although only when walking on two legs. She is more likely to slip on places she has already walked on that Cycle, due to her feet cleaning and removing the grime from whatever she steps on, so backtracking is only used as a last resort.
PERSONALITY
Soapy is an extroverted, agitated, clingy, but dutiful Slugcat, who is always ready to help out with little things whenever she can! She strongly dislikes being alone, as it makes her feel exposed and in danger, so she usually tags along with another Slugcat while journeying. She is easily startled, anxious, and does not handle having big expectations put onto her, which is mildly ironic seeing as she is working on The Clog. However, even if she feels overwhelmed, she still tries to do the best she can! Even if that best happens to be, curling up into a ball and waiting for help.
HISTORY
The Surfactant is one of WCV's Slugcats, currently working on removing The Clog from inside the intake pipe. She is the mother of The Streamlined, and while they very rarely see one another, they are on good terms and will usually hang out during Slugcat meetups. She used to constantly fret about The Streamlined when she was out, but realized that she needed to live her life on her own, and tries not to think about it too much nowadays.
She was the first Slugcat to meet The Plumber, and currently they are the best of pals, roaming around The Clog together and cleaning things as they do. Clogs forever!
