Eshe

"I don't want to do the things I do. If I weren't the Goddess,  I would have ended the world by now just to end the constant suffering of the Astral Plane. However, I am the Goddess of Life, and my job is to create and protect, not destroy."

Eshe is the daughter of the former Goddess of Life, Shivani. When she was younger, her and Drefan were good friends. She would almost see him as a brother. She would notice one day that Drefan would become slowly more reclusive to him. When she started dating Myrek, the son of the God of the Sky, she would slowly start to stray from Drefan. When Drefan confesses his love to her, she admits that she is dating Myrek. After that day, she would not see him for a while, that was until she saw her mother dead on the floor. Standing in front of her, the God of Chaos himself. 

With being the new Goddess of Life, Eshe would have to struggle with not only the new responsibilities and power she has, but also have to deal with those who wanted her power, which was not only Drefan. This period became one of victory, but also bloodshed, not only of the Zeriths she made to protect her, but also the ones who wanted her power. She would change herself into a male during this period. Under the alias "Atreya", Eshe would have victory after victory. No one could touch her. After this period of bloodshed, she did not want to be known as a "Killer Goddess", so she makes Atreya into his own entity, making him the God of Glory and Bloodshed, and banishing him to his own realm to dwell in loneliness. 

After this period is over, Drefan becomes a bigger threat. Seeing Eshe under so much stress from everything that has happened since she became the Goddess, he tries to go kill Drefan for her. He ends up dying in the hands of Drefan. When Drefan would have kids, seeing that he was inactive for a while, was when Eshe came up with a plan. She gathers an army of Zeriths and destroys the Chaos Realm in hopes Drefan would die in the destruction. When she came back to survey the damage, she found Innes, crying because he was separated from his family. Feeling bad for the young Chaos Being, she would take Innes and raise her as his own. Raising a Chaos Being was exhausting, but when he was old enough and went through all of his training, Eshe purifies him and makes him the God of Death. 

She gathers around with her council a millennium after the day she took Innes as her own and they help her come with a plan to rid of Drefan once and for all. The plan would have to rid of his heir, Shiva, as well. With the help of Shri, one of the daughters of the council members, becoming the living "clone" of Shiva, they were able to fake murders and have all of the Astral Plane hate the Prince of Chaos. So when Eshe proposes a second destruction of the Chaos Realm, every Zerith would agree to join. Little did she know, Drefan had a plan up his sleeve. The first hiccup was when Shiva came to the Life Court himself to try and investigate the murders. Eshe would let him, but she would then create a group of Zeriths to kill Shiva. After she assigns them to the job, she gets a letter from Shri, which she finds out Drefan is declaring war on the Astral Plane. 

After a meeting of the war, which she specifically forced every Chaos Being to go to, knowing that if a Zerith wanted to take out their rage, it would be a whole massacre. While watching the events roll out and having a conversation with Shri in private, Shri would go outside where the group Eshe made to kill Shiva was making their attempt. Yael, the rookie of the group, would almost kill Shiva by a stroke of luck, but then Shri shoots him in the head, trying to protect Shiva. Eshe would dismiss Shri from her job as a spy and instead heal her of the corruption Drefan would give her and have her continue to be the clone of Shiva. 

When Shiva would try to escape to the Human Realm with Shri and Innes, she would vow to rid of Shiva herself. She almost kills Shiva, but using the remaining of his power he could use, he knocks Eshe back before falling into the portal with Shri. Eshe would capture Innes however. While she did not kill Innes, she trained him to be like Yael, who at the time was a "living weapon" Eshe created to try and kill Shiva. She would try to do the same to Innes, only to be met with failure later on. 

Now, not only does the have to keep careful watch of the Human Realm with Shiva, but she is also getting picked apart piece by piece in the war against Drefan. Each day is exhausting to her and she hopes each day she is one step ahead of Drefan. 

Relationships:

Cytheria: She is very fond of Cytheria. She would be the one that would approve her transfer to the Human Realm. She thinks she is a good actress. 

Drefan: She only wants the best for Drefan. Unfortunately, that right now would be his death, or at least imprisonment. It took her so long to hear his name and feel almost nothing but hate for him. 

Eslyn: She thinks he is lazy. Unfortunately, she can't convince him to join the war since she can't access his realm. A mistake on her part. 

Innes: She sees him as her son despite not being blood-related. She knows they are afraid to say no to her and uses that to her advantage. She even dangles Shiva's like in front of him until he decides to agree with whatever she tells him to do. 

Shiva: She is starting to realize how important of the chess piece Shiva is. Either he joins her, or he dies. To her, there is no other choice. 

Shri: She worries about Shri everyday. She was a right-hand-man to Eshe. She worries perhaps she has truly fallen in love with Shiva and will one day turn against her. 

Storm: She sees him as a traitor for keeping Shiva alive. Though, she only doesn't kill him because he is Coventina, the Goddess of the Sea's son and they are good friends. She does not see Storm as fit for the throne, but she has no choice in that. 

Vacana: One of the only Zeriths she sees as her child. Zeriths can naturally keep their own warmth, but Vacana had a hard time with that as a kid. Eshe would let him sleep with her and provide warmth for him at night during the cold months. He has been her "right-hand-man" since the war began with affairs in the Human Realm, seeing his passion in wanting to kill Shiva a good thing and lets him do it.
