Profile
Harry doesn't have the time or the patience to deal with a majority of the world. People call him stuck-up and unpleasant, and they're largely right. His rigid and reserved personality draws a stark contrast between himself and the rest of his community in perfect "Sunny San Diego", but Harry is content to keep it that way. Everyone here is just so boring and predictable...
Except for her, as it stands. This arachnid-themed hero has charmed the rest of the city, and Harry has been swept along in it, to a point. She's as sunny and colorful as the rest of the city, and still manages to stand out. And maybe it's just because Harry seems to stand out the same for all the wrong ways, but he swears she singles him out in a crowd time and again. It's probably nothing.

Public din
"Harry's got it all, Harry doesn't worry about anything, Harry's never worked a day in his life." Harry would rather sell off everything to his name than be surrounded by such banal chatter. If anyone made an effort to know him beond his wealth they would know his life is one plagued with its own hardships. In losing his mother to cancer, he also lost his father to his experiments. It's taken years to get more than small talk with him again. It's not his fault he looks so much like her. Sure, his father's wealth pays for a good --the best-- therapists there are to offer, and he's never denied service at any venue he frequents, but living in a world populated only by yourself leads to both isolation and codependence. But Harry is content with the way things are. He can keep the pain away by keeping everything away.
SAM SUMMERS more than friends
It's not fair, that someone can burst into your life like a whirlwind, look at you, and see right through you. And to love you anyway, it's maddening. She's too much, better than any buzz, and he curses himself to need her like he does.
Max doesn't like him, he knows it, and the feeling is mutual. They manage to hold something in Sam that Harry can't even see. See, Harry doesn't like to share, and Max keeps finding ways to interject.
Oh, her. Our star student. She's saying what? That we're rivals? Oh, hah, who was gonna tell me that? I'll be sure to send her an antagonistic bouquet for graduation. The grand head of journalism should ask me herself next time.
