Týr

One of the guardians of the gravewastes with a chip in his shoulder about the shooter empire. He's lost a lot of family to their slavers, and now only has his nerdy little runt brother, whom he is fiercely protective of. Týr is fearsome and ruthless, endlessly devoted to those he considers under his protection. As for those on the other end of his spear, he forgot the meaning of mercy.

You know in movies, when the protagonist is taken in by a native group thats mostly welcoming, but there's that one rigid asshole who insists something along the lines of "We can't trust this outsider" and insists that they should leave? Týr is that asshole. He's incredibly mistrusting of anyone he doesn't know, and would sooner destroy the unknown than try to understand it. He lives by 'better safe than sorry' and is ready and willing to force everyone else to abide by his rules as well. He's stern, strict, and unyielding. That said, he does this because he thinks it's what's best for his family and his people. In private, he's an incredibly doting, loving paternal figure, and often defers to village elders and women. He's never too busy to help with even the most mundane of tasks, and will often try to solve disagreements in the most fair and just manner possible.

Týr is incredibly religious and devout, and generally tries to make offerings to all the gods as often as he can (not Basut, obviously, just actual gods >:/) but he does primarily worship Raziel and Lenus. Unfortunately, some of his 'worship' involves drinking to excess, much to the concern of his little brother. This tradition is a fairly recent development. Týr is openly racist against shooters, and if he learned his little brother was friends with one, he would have an absolute conniption fit. Robbers confound him, and if he's being honest, he's had more than one nightmare about his lost loved ones coming back twisted and deformed by severblight...
