Atalie never had the chance to be much of a teenager, since she seemed predestined to grow up too fastā€”both physically and mentally. Now she is a cunning young woman who is not nearly as old as she wants people to think she is. She wants people to think she's a grown-up, heartless, femme fatale; but deep down she has the mentality of a stubborn, jealous child.
Atalie is filled with spite and rage for a world that never really gave her the attention she was owed. She knows what she does is wrong, and acknowledges that she's something of a bad person. But she could be worse, and that's how she justifies her actions to herself. She is not nearly as aloof and cruel as she pretends to be... but it's the only way she can cope with the world that she thrust herself into. She hopes that if she acts cold enough, that sooner or later she will become numb to it all.
Atalie subconsciously yearns to be truly unique; to unquestionably stand out in much the same way that her older brother Oskar does. She sees embracing her beauty and curves as a means towards that end. But instead of letting her jealousy sour her relationship with her brother, she instead idolizes him to the point of near obsession. Oskar is her closest friend and the only person in her beautifully wicked world that she trusts entirely. The rest of her familyā€”no, the rest of the WORLDā€”can go to hell as far as she's concerned.

- Atalie seems to wear the equivalent of designer fashion. But the materials of her clothes are usually rough and cheap; her look emulates wealth but is not a product of it.
- Atalie's iconic hair is actually a wig. She keeps her true hair quite short. While she could do the hairstyle with her natural hair, it's a lot less hastle to have a pre-styled straight wig.
- Atalie's heels walk the fine line of fashion and practical. They're fairly low heels and she can run in them, but she's also not the sort to wear heels in legitimate combat or stealth scenarios.
- Atalie has pierced ears and a labret piercing below her lower lip.

Swashbucklers focus their training on the art of the blade, relying on speed, elegance, and charm in equal parts. While some warriors are brutes clad in heavy armor, the Swashbuckler's method of fighting looks almost like a performance.

Atalie has a small, unique dagger that was a gift from her brother Oskar. It has a pearl-trimmed pink cloth-wrapped grip and a curved, double-edged darksteel blade. It is similar in shape to a jambiya.
Sneak Attack
Due to her extensive training with Kai, Atalie has also mastered the art of exploiting her target's weaknesses to strike hard and true.
Fancy Footwork
Atalie's a mobile foe on the battlefield, whether in heels or flats. She's well adept at dodging and knows how to defend her weak points.
Rakish Audacity
Atalie is extremely proficient in one-on-one duels, quick to make the first move and to make that move count.
Panache
Atalie is good at using her charm to distract and off-set her opponents, both in and out of combat.
Wand of Fireballs
Atalie once stole a random wand from her uncles' extensive magical armory. Much to her delight, it shoots fireballs! Definitely an in-case-of-emergencies type tool.

- I can't say exactly what Atalie's initial inspirations were, she just kind of... happened.
- Her design underwent a rework a few years back when I decided to have her be heavier-set.
- Atalie is heterosexual and aromantic, in modern terminology.
- Atalie doesn't have any scars, using her skill and luck to slip her way out of combat 99% of the time.
- Atalie's favorite color is a rosey red and she absolutely adores crime novels.
Liar - The Arcadian Wild
Brother. Atalie's favorite brother. She ran away from home to join him in the city of Theracarcus because she was worried about him. See Links for more detail on character relationships!
Uncle. Kai is Atalie's personal trainer and mentor. He was the one who initiated her to the crime-riddled underbelly of the city. Atalie both admires and fears him.
Uncle. Atalie is the unofficial ward of the Emilios household and lives under Audemus' roof. Audemus and Atalie maintain a rather antagonistic relationship towards each other.
