Personality

Sylvia (for most of the story) is introverted and quite shy. She's not one to try to go out of her way to make friends or rock the boat, but that doesn't mean she's without opinions. She's endlessly curious and can't stop herself from asking questions that nag at the back of her mind, though she tries to be kinda and appropriate about it. She's compassionate and empathetic, and her bleeding heart leads her to grow more passionate in her aims to help others and grow stronger. Over time, she becomes less hesitant to speak and shrinks less when put down. She wants so badly to one day become like the heros and heroines she's always read about.

Background & Magic

She's from the home of a modest diver. Her mother is a Sine diver who works with fishermen to help bring in fish to sell, and her father was a Ram-Belua witch and fellow fisherman. When she was young, she would spend hours in her room by the window, just reading and daydreaming. Sometimes she would dress up as a princess or a witch, and she always said she woudl someday become a powerful witch just like Moonraiser. Her father fled once the duke arrived, and she and her mother never heard from him since. Sylvia took his place to help provide for their home, being a fisherman and salesman alive. Though she is proud of her heritage as a fisherman and cook, she can't help but still yearn for a time where her childhood dreams might come true. And maybe, with time and help and a little bit of magic, they will.
