Personality

Basil is a soul from the times of old--one of the very first souls reaped upon the creation of Death. He has seen history unfold from the very beginning, but frankly, he is too small to feel or do anything about it. He wanders and he tries to be joyful. He's close friends with the Immortals--Clancy and her husband Tutrix--and now he's friends with the very mortal young man, Abroxus. Abroxus gives him lots of anxiety, being so mortal but so reckless with his life. He's fiercly protective of the boy, despite his size and lack of ability to be heard. He loves to frolick and play, especially with Abroxus, but such things must wait for when Abroxus and his friends are safe.
