Personality

Dakari has a strong personality, and as such can be quite divisive. He says what's on his mind when it occurs to him--in most cases--and is usually quite blunt with his word choice. He sees no point in mincing words, as he thinks it can be manipulative and scummy. He adores those he considers his family--his family from home and his close friends fit into this category. He loves them and takes on the responsibility of protecting and providing for them. It's a difficult role and one that weighs on him the more stressers are applied. He wants to see his loved ones happy and safe, and when they aren't he puts all of the blame onto himself. And those who exist outside of his close circle are enemies or otherwise nothing in his mind. He's suspicious of people and assumes they have ill intensions until they prove themselves trustworthy.

Background & Magic

Dakari was raised by a community of plant-human creatures in the rainforst of South Sycamore. They taught him everything he knows about medicine, health and healing, family, community, leadership, responsibility, and magic. He was brought to them by a tiger named Narangi, and years later, when she bit off his left wrist, he acquired his magical ability. He was always able to understand the language of the forest, but since then, he could also create and control the plantlife. They regard him as their prince, and he takes the role very seriously. He's their leader and big brother figure--keeping them safe, happy, healthy, and never once losing sight that they are his family.
