The Author - Creator of Immortality

Biography:

In his time traveling the world, Raven discovered something. Being alone was the worst punishment that a living being could ever bear. After meeting Alessia in passing, he found it extremely sad that there weren't any other immortals walking the Earth. Sure, there were gods, but gods and immortals are fundamentally different.

For this reason, Raven decided to throw his own hat into the ring. Using what he knew from Alessia, as well as his own knowledge on toxicology and poisons, Raven created a potion to grant immortality to anyone who drank it.

He wrote down the potion's ingredients and method of creation in a chemistry book, planting the book in a college library somewhere in Louisiana. He hoped that his interference would create other immortals, ones that weren't tied to any specific god. Raven wasn't sure how long it would take for a human to find the book, but when he looked in the library the next week, the book had vanished from the shelf. Perhaps someone's eternity would begin sooner than he thought it would. Either way, he was excited to find out.

God of Death:

Despite currently being in hiding, Raven still holds power as the god of death. He can grow a black angelic wing on his left shoulder if he wishes to. He also heal quickly from any injury, so he is pointedly very difficult to kill. Finally, as a bringer of death, Raven is able to create and find immediate mastery in any potion or poison, finding it extremely easy to make even the most unlikely things work. This is useful, as he is not always guaranteed to have a weapon around.

Creator of Immortality:

Despite being the author behind an immortality potion, Raven does not gain any benefits in making someone immortal. He also doesn't find detriment in this. Any immortal made through Raven's potion is truly eternal, as far as he knows. Unlike those made from other methods, not even Raven's own death would end in his immortals being killed. If he had thought about this reality for more than a few seconds, he surely wouldn't have just let this knowledge free into the world.
