| Personality | Pitpaw frequently struggled with his mental health and self-image issues, and was always upset about things ranging from his unattractive face to his lack of talent. After spiralling in misery for a while, he'd flip around and work really hard, and end up with an ego about whatever he felt he was excelling at at the time, going so far as to lord his supposed superiority over others. He frequently wrote others off before getting to know them, believing he wouldn't like them, or they could never like him, and was somewhat of a loner because of it. | |
| History | He spent most of his life hanging out with his littermates Wishpaw and Swallowfur, and his sister's girlfriend Squeakyheart, since he didn't want to open himself up to romantic rejection. Even then, he would avoid them often, though he wasn't sure if it was because he was insecure or just too good for them. He was particularly jealous of Wishpaw's looks, and often minimized his siblings' problems because others liked them more than him. He took it easier on Swallowfur after she was nearly killed by a tree. He avoided his parents as he didn't think they were cut out to handle his inner demons. Pitpaw, Wishpaw, and Squeakyheart's lives were cut short when they were taken out by rogues. Swallowfur was the only survivor of the attack, and he learned more about her observing her from StarClan. Being in StarClan allowed his turbulent mind to settle out somewhat, and he feels a lot of regrets for how he spent his life, and general resent for having been killed just short of his Warrior Assessment. His mother joined him and Wishpaw before they made the move to the other island to keep watching over Birchnest and Swallowfur. | |
