As a child, being the middle child of six other siblings, Bea was always overlooked by her parents and other family members. Of course, ignoring your children is quite terrible, but Bea responded to this by becoming the most controlling and manipulative person as an adult to get her way and finally have power over her life. She believes she is the one fit to rule; it was just that nobody gave her the opportunity to -- so she has to make that opportunity herself. Talk about an god complex.

Bea was inspired by Margaret Dooley when she was the comptroller of Ocean City, so she climbed the city government ranks to work alongside Margaret. After Margaret's family died in the barn explosion, Margaret was devestated. However, it was Bea who convinced her to take this personally and make her climb to Shadow Presidency.

Bea also uncovered the power of the shadows that caused the earthquake in Frisco and barn explosion. She followed the trail of shadows, gaining high amounts of Shadow Taint -- perhaps even higher than Margaret. She then helped research and harness the power for Margaret's ultimate goal of ruling the earth. There were earlier times were Margaret was hesitant, yes, but Bea always convinced her this was the right thing to do. They had to make the fools beneath them pay.

As Murray began hunting down the cursed artifacts, Bea took notice of his search and tracked him. She was ultimately the one who caught him and turned him over to Margaret so he wouldn't interfere further with their plans. She was also the one who found Ivy a week prior to the start of Tam and co.'s adventure, but she could only prepare a maximum security prison cell due to the rising need for attention towards the shadows.

Tam first sees her at the fridge factory, where she and the other nemeses are making a deal with Oliver Guck. After that, she continues to appear in the trio's dreams as they sleep. She is finally seen again in the final chapter, during the break-in of the Black House. She gets sucked into the portal with the rest of the group after Murray throws the bomb.

Bea urges Margaret to pay no mind to the rest and focus on restoring the portal, but the combination of Barker and Tam's research on the Dooleys eventually convinced Margaret to step down. Betrayed by this change in sides, Bea takes it upon herself to unleash the shadows, where she battles against everyone else in the final fight of the game.

Notes

• She loses in the end. Obviously. You can't win when there's like a billion young adults and their companions beating your ass. But it was a hard fight!
• She is to Margaret as the evil court advisor is to a king. Homoerotic yaoi whisperings and whatnot
• Maybe she could've turned out differently, but she's too far gone to be able to go back, unlike Margaret.
