Kit+Apprentice

Rosekit wasn't the first name she had but doesnt care to tell anyone that. She had a rough start to life being born into a large family and never feeling like you could compete with your siblings. Especially since her own parents questioned her abilities due to being born without a leg- thinking she’ll never be a full warrior like her siblings. This of course was never true and she kept up with them just as well- even if it took a little more effort in training.

She eventually turned to the dark forest as an apprentice when her own parents scoffed at the idea of her wanting to be called something other than the name they gave her…as well as not accepting what gender she discovered she wanted to be. Luckily for her the leader officially re-named her Rosepaw but her family still never budged.

Rosepaw had always been a bright and upbeat cat so she tried to never let it show that it bothered her as much as it did. She had a few cats who were her friends and accepted her for who she was- Even more so developed a crush on another apprentice called Scatteredpaw who had the same problem of never fitting in and feeling hated as she did. But while Rosepaw thought Scatteredpaw was the most beautiful cat she’d seen, she felt too scared to talk to the other molly until they became warriors and close friends!!

Warrior

It wasn't a surprise when being exiled from Cragclan that her family never protested against it…but it still felt like a punch in the stomach. Being 35 moons old, She took her leave with pride and looked forward to a future with her longtime crush and now mate; Scatterednest! While she didn't fight many battles against Cragclan due to her family, she still enjoyed life in Riftclan more than anything.

Having their kits was the most exciting time of the pair's life and they doted on their kits hard. Rosebud couldn't wait to raise the kits in the way she wished she had and the two mothers took turns in hunting for each other and looking after the kits in the nursery!

4 Moons after their kits were born, Cragclan attacked the Riftclan camp while Scatterednest was out hunting. There was a battle and many Cragclan cats died, but Rosebud came face-to-face with two warriors attacking the nursery. Wanting to do anything to protect her kits, Rosebud fought them both off and eventually had the help of Boneslash.

While the pair killed one and the other ran off with Boneslash chasing after, Rosebud's wounds caused her to bleed out as Scatterednest heard the news and ran back to camp only to see her mate dying with their kits. She felt comforted in her last moments with the love of her life and two kits hugging her, Thankful to be with them till the end.
