OverviewTBA Physical AbilitiesLiving alone on an isolated island for most of her life, Vera never really had a need to learn how to fight. Aside from a few encounters with hostile animals, her life was peaceful. As such, she lacked proper fighting stills when she joined the Heart Pirates. She did her best to learn by observing the fighting styles of the others around her, but she didn't start showing real improvement until she met with Bepo on Zou. At Law's request, he began to train her in martial arts. Although she's still a beginning, she can now hold her own without her Devil Fruit for at least a short while. HakiFurther Information: Haki Busoshoku HakiVera began training her Haki with the Heart Pirates after arriving in Wano. By the time the Sanji Retrieval Team made it there, Vera was able to maintain Busoshoku haki on a small part of her body for a few seconds. She has a long way to go until she can utilize it properly, but Law seems to think she has potential. Kenbunshoku HakiDuring her 10 years alone on Wellspring Isle, Vera took up fishing as a way to feed herself. In the early days, she wasn't very skilled at it, and as such went hungry for a very long time. On the brink of starving to death, Vera did her best to concentrate so she could catch something and stay alive. It was at this point that her Kenbunshoku haki was awoken. She unknowingly honed it over the years, and ended up developing it to an impressive level considering her situation. She didn't know what Haki was until meeting Law and the Strawhats, so she always just said that she had "sharp senses" until Law eventually explained what it actually was.
