Gin Gin no Mi
Contents 5 History
Etymology• Gin is the Japanese word for silver. AppearanceThe Gin Gin no Mi is a blue-gray, spherical fruit with a long curly stem and off-white insides. It's overall appearance greatly resembles a honeydew melon. Strengths and WeaknessesStrengthsThe user of this fruit is able to generate, manipulate, and become silver. Like most other Logia fruits, it's abilities can be used to dodge attacks by turning the targeted area to silver. Although it doesn't grant the user the ability to "fly" like some other Devil Fruits, it does allow the user to create footholds where there usually wouldn't be any. This makes it useful for things like crossing canyons or craters, or walking across bodies of water. The user can also move incredibly quickly while in liquid form, and travel through narrow spaces that normal people wouldn't be able to fit through such as pipes and small cracks. The Gin Gin no Mi is one of few Logia-type fruits that allows the user to manipulate their element in multiple states of matter (liquid or solid). It's main offensive use is coating/turning parts of the user's body into silver to increase the strength of their attacks, or trapping their opponents in silver to restrict their movements or weight them down.
