cy is a tenacious fellow. he was born from a discarded vintage baseball jersey. the magic and happiness of the victory brought cy to life, and he's always gung ho about everything he does because of it. he's unstoppable. cy will never let you tell him "no" or "that cannot be done". at times this annoys people, they either love cy because of his determination, or hate him because he's frustrating to be around.
even though both he and nola are vibrant personalities, they get on really well. finding each other by chance and uniting because of their love for a sport that neither of them quite understand, and that they cant participate in seems to be an act of universal kindness. they're always together, it seems like. because they are nearly brothers, they bicker like brothers. people who are new to their relationship sometimes don't understand this
despite cy's vibrant determination, he has a past that he doesn't enjoy talking about. he reacts very poorly to people trying to smother his personality, out of fear that he could become his old, quiet, subdued self again.
